What a strange place this world is turing into. When I think of a boy with a Hello Kitty backpack I think of gay.

Novel, yes. Sick? I think that's a little strong. Silly? Well, who cares? You did say young American males. Maybe young American males are more liberated than I ever dreamed possible. You are "never too old to have a happy childhood." I don't see how Hello Kitty could offend anyone. Might raise a few eyebrows, but I've seen much stranger things. Seems a little goofy, but harmless, to me.

That hasn't hit here. Yet, at least. But guys do crazy things, that's why some of us girls like them. Personally, I'd love a guy that went gaga over something like a puppy or hello kitty or anything Uber cute. Then I'd get a bit sad because he'd have to be gay...

The Hello Kitty phenomenon with teenage males is merely because the term 'kitty' is a synonym to female genitalia: "p_ssy".....

I think it's just sick! at my school, most of the juniors and freshman have almost hello kitty everything! It's just wrong!

I'm sure they wouldn't be into it so much if they had girlfriends. Young ladies have no idea about the control they have over a boy at that age when they think they're going to "get some".
