As a pre-diagnosed condition most likely, but you should talk to a recruiter. A recruiter may send you to MEPS for the physical and let a doctor make the determination their. If you require medication and depending on the type it may keep you from joining. If your condition is mild and does not require medication you will most likely be allowed to join. However you should keep in mind the Navy is reducing in size right now and most medical waivers are not being permitted at the moment.

Much like other treatable medical conditions, I'm sure that properly treated mental illness DOES NOT keep someone from joining and serving in the armed forces.

Having been diagnosed as bipolar disqualifies you from service in any branch of the armed forces.
