You church people just gave me answers for the following question: Are genetic diseases and deformities evidence of intelligent design?
You answered: no, they are evidence of sin.
Does that include other kinds of diseases too? God didn't create any diseases; sin created them?

Is this a part of the cirriculum in studying church science? Diseases were created by sin, and God created only the good stuff?
If I were to pursue a degree in church science, could I learn all about what is intelligent design and what is not; and what God is to be credited for and what he is not to be credited for?

And perhaps Genesis is part of the cirriculum?

In the Bible you only pick out the good stuff god did. I guess that's what the Nazi's only saw the positive about Hitler (What could be Positive?) when they read Mein Kamph.

If I remember correctly, archeology has found proof that various animals, even dinosaurs, suffered diseases we still suffer from. As such, God made the ecological systems to function perfectly. (What is perfection? a system or a part that fully performs its function!)

This ecological perfection had parts, 1. the birth or renewal--that is, replacement of worn out parts. 2 the functioning of parts while youthful 3. the introduction of various worms, bacteria that are needed when the part starts failing 4. the disposal of worn out parts, etc. ( sorry for the non-scientific explanation )

You get the picture.

Now humans were introduced. Adam was told that he had to be obedient to be permitted to live! In other words, God said in effect, obey me and I will make sure that you do not die of old age, illness, etc.

When Adam turned away from God and thereby demanded self rule, God gave it to him. That meant that the protective umbrella that God had surrounded the human race with was withdrawn.

As such, they became just as vulnerable as the animals to the ravages of time, disease, catastrophes.

Therefore the illnesses existed previous to Adam's creation. The genetic diseases began their inroad on human DNA only after Adam's rejection of theocracy!

The funny thing is that even today scientist admit this in a roundabout way! How? It is admitted that some diseases are genetic and are passed down from parents that carry them. It is admitted that these diseases arise from WRONG information that this person's DNA contain in a specific site/s.

Thus the conclusion is that the correct information would cure the disease. Right! That is an admission that there exist a kind of human DNA that is without defect. This is nearly an involuntary admission that God created the original man with perfect DNA---kind of!

AIDs is transmitted by sexual contact. If a person is righteous, they have nothing to worry about, because they will not get the disease in a monogamous relationship. If they "sin", then they risk getting the disease and transmitting the disease to someone else - children, spouses, other partners etc... So, I would agree that sin creates disease.

Most people are in the hospital from alcohol and tobacco related illnesses. If they didn't drink and smoke, they would be FAR less likely to have the health problems they suffer from. Once again, sin creates disease. If people didn't "sin", their lives would be immeasurably improved.

These social mores weren't created in the last 100 years, they have been around since the beginning of the Bible and have helped allow mankind to grow and prosper.

You can play all the word games you want, but it doesn't make sin acceptable.

Where does bacteria come from?
How is it that new diseases just "pop" up?

We were intelligently designed perfect. Sin didn't "create" disease. The act of sin did.

If you have sex with a monkey and pass a disease onto the human race because of a foreign bacteria, how did God create that?

Maybe he created the monkey, the act of sex, the human and even the bacteria, for sake of argument. But to have sex with a monkey is immoral and a sin.

Sin . . . . . . then the disease . . . . . . as i said before, poor question. Curriculum in studying church science? What curriculum were you studying in Biology and Science class?

Now that rude, sorry, getting tired of the poor questions. Signing off . . . . . . . . . . .

God Bless

In the study of Science, an important element in any experiment, is cause and effect. Until you get to the theories of the Big bang and evolution, where believing whatever you want and calling it wisdom is ok, without any cause. What caused the single cell organism to evolve into a human. Did it wake up one day and say "I think I will be a human today," and bam it was so. Do you not see your own double standard for logic. Secondly the fact that we exist to have complicated diseases, defies mathematical probability screaming for intelligent design.

"...pursue a degree in church science..." This reminds me of this incident up here in Wisconsin. A year or two ago, the school district in the city of Chetek (about two hours southeast of Minneaplis/St. Paul) was attempting to introduce intelligent design into the science curriculum. They had this expert take the stand in the eventual court case. He testified how he had all these credentials proving creationism. It turned out after some people did some investigating, they found his degree was signed by "God" from "Saved University." Hilarious stuff, really.

Your talking about some thing you do not comprehend apparently. Genetic flaws were no longer created through God. you want to comprehend dominant and recessive genes and uncomplicated biology. at the same time as the gene pool is perfect you need to marry your sister or brother. once you proceed on and integrate gene swimming pools you need to initiate getting added and extra faraway from similar genes. at the moment you're at odds to have a deformed newborn in case you marry a cousin. quickly it is going to likely be second cousin once bumped off etc etc, for this reason guidelines have replaced. more beneficial duplication more beneficial room for mistakes. perhaps ultimately think ofyou've got to be examined in the previous you are able to marry, oops they seen that once ailment outbreaks were rampant. i'm utilising the bloodline marriages as an get mutually BTW, no longer condoning it. It grow to be intelligently designed that way b/c we were intelligently designed perfect. we are those who delivered sin into the international. Sin (sexual immorality and others inclusive of uncleanliness) has also brought about ailments that effect childbirth and the unborn. poor question for my area God Bless

It is more accurate to say that disease is the result of sin, not that sin created disease
I'm sure you've read Genesis, so know that we originally were physically perfect. Until we sinned. But to say that God created only good is true. Car manufacturers create only cars, they don't create the wrecks that kill people, or cause people to walk in front of cars.

The rest of your question is almost like others I've heard. Like, "How many Angels fit on the head of a pin"

Oh and to the person above this post, Sexual contact is not the only way to spread AIDS, Please keep your ignorance of Epidemiology to yourself.

You intelligent design people have no idea how nutty you are.

"I'm sure you've read Genesis, so you know blah, blah, blah..."

Genesis is where you get a lot of your crazy ideas in the first place..I have nothing to learn from Genesis except mythology and your god's emotional problems.

Yes, get a degree in church science and learn all kinds of absurdities -- you may find it difficult to believe seemingly normal people can swallow all that nonsense. Somehow they do.
