Nothing. Your brain dies, along with your thought process, and all conciousness. Just imagine sleeping with no dreams forever.

death. i guess we will know that answer when we get there?! Who really knows. Though who claim to have seen the "light".... but who knows what happens after that... (if you believe in the "light" story).... who knows. No one can know for sure until they die. And then they won't be telling anyone. I don't consider myself atheist. but i do have some questions of my own.

nothing happens.
you just don't do stuff anymore, and nothing matters to you once you are dead. once you die, there is nothing, not even time, since you have no sensory input, nor are you capable of thought, so
after death, there is nothing.

just nothing

nothing at all

and im not an atheist by the way

There is life after death, you will either spend it in Heaven forever and ever with out pain and sufferings, or you will spend it in Hell forever and ever with pain and suffering and torment.

There is nothing after death.

Just the fairy tales of those who are deluded...

This is the only life you get--better make the most of it while you can...

The same as before birth.

This scares some people so much they make up stories about a fairy granting people eternal life.

We call these stories "religion".
