I like this girl and I sent her a valentine day gift to her. Shen sent me a message today that it seems you really like me as more then a friend but, I just want to tell you that I like you as a friend. I do like her. We hung out only once, and talk may be about half an hour a day or less. What do I need to say to her now? I'm so scared. She got out of her relationship about a month ago. She got over it, I can see that from her myspace. Help me, what do I need to do now?

Be honest with her. Be sweet. I can always sense if a guy is being genuine and really respect that. Even if she says no it's not the end of the world and if she says she likes you too it will be so worth it. You have nothing to lose. Life is too short to let little important things like that pass you buy. Be brave and confident. Tha in itself is attractive to a woman. Good luck.

Let her do her own thing for a while man. She's been in a relationship for a long time. Maybe she just want's to fly solo for a while. I say you spend more time with her...I mean you have only hung out with her ONCE....I know u talk to her but still....I think you need to do more if u wanna well u know ;)

Just tell her that u think shes a cool chick and tht u wish shed get to know ya better b4 she pushed u away tht ur not asking for a life long commitment or anything just a cool girl for a cool guy.

Dude, she totally told you to back off in a nice way. Leave it alone! She's not interested. Just be friends. If you bother her about it, she might not want to be friends anymore. Nothing is more irritating than a guy who just doesn't get it.

There is nothing you can do. She has made it very clear and plain that she is interested in you as a friend, nothing more. Accept it and find someone else for romance.

Well...if she said she just likes you as a friend..and you really like her...just say: Ok thats cool! Are we okay then?
Then if she responds saying something like:yes we are ok..or something...then just hang out with her more...get to know her more!

you really didnt ask her out. do that first. if she says yes,youre on easy street,if she says no,say ok,and get moving on,its easier said than done,but youll never wonder what could have been.
