Animals may have sex in any practical configuration they like. Just consider the different shapes and sizes of dogs. There's a border Collie x shih tzu near my house.
But union between species will not produce anything. You could define "species" from the genetic make up, i.e. the number of chromosomes.
A goat has 60 chromosomes and a monkey has only 48. (In general, older species have more chromosomes.) That will make fertilisation impossible, or make the embryo unviable. It wouldn't eat anything.
There are some hybrid animals within species. The most common being a mule (by a male donkey and out of a female horse) or hinny (out of a female donkey and by a male horse).

Why on earth would a goat want to have sex with a monkey?? It's like saying: 'would you like to have sex with a gorilla?' Heehee, serious monkey quiz, hey, if you dare to ask this question in front my science teacher she would 'kick' you outside and contact your parents and you'll surely get a afternoon lunch break detention!
