Actually, they were both demi-gods, one human parent, one god parent.
As for raising himself from the dead, Jesus didn't do that either, his father raised him.
And Eds? The ancient Greeks considered Zeus a real person too. Temples everywhere, people who claimed to have seen and talked with him--sound familiar?

It's the same myth. God comes down from heaven and impregnates a virgin with his son. Jehovah-Mary-Jesus, Zeus-Alcmene-Hercules. The first gospel (Mark) doesn't mention the birth myth at all. It was incorporated later in Matthew and Luke to make Jesus seem more godly. And, like Jesus, Hercules suffered, died, and was resurrected and joined Zeus on Mount Olympus as a god.
Note that this is not to say that Jesus did not exist, only to say that Matthew and Luke made up the story that is never mentioned by Mark. You can have myths about real people.

LOL - where did you get that? Its Jesus as in a variant of "Yeshuah" and not the greek god Zeus. You Muslims really need to learn to stop insulting Jesus whom Muhammad said to respect.
Jesus never said "I am God" nor did he say "I am my own Father". He did say, "I and the Father are one" to which many trinitarian believers completely miss what Jesus was saying. He was saying that "I and the Father are in Union" .., that kind of I and the Father are one. Context - its all about context.
Jesus said he was/is the Son of God, he also said he was the Son of Man. In fact he said he was the Son of Man more times than he said he was the Son of God. Why? He never claimed to be diety. He claimed to be the human son of Deity.
Zeus is mythical, Hercules is mythical with not even an ounce of documentation to establish himself as a valid person with god-like powers.
Jesus said that of himself, he could do nothing. Jesus said, it was GOD who did the works (healings, miracles, etc) through him. People could learn more about who Jesus really was and is if they REALLY read the Bible.
God gave Jesus "authority" over everything for a time. When Jesus has put every enemy of God under God's feet, Jesus then hands all power and authority given him back to his Father (God). Now how does one hand his own power and authority back to himself? Cant be done.
For now. all power remains in Jesus hands.

There is plenty of evidence to prove that Jesus existed outside of Biblical references. Easy to find if you want to. The myth here is Hercules.

Wow these questions just get more and more ignorant. It actually amazes me.
Hercules did not raise himself from the dead, or heal a blind man, nor does he have the power to save the whole earth.
And if, you believe he is a myth, then why are you even asking the question.

Apollo was the God of the Sun and Son of Zeus
and Jesus was the Son of God----
The sun is at its weakest point during the Winter Equinox, and at the end of the year (around the 23rd - 31st) the Sun regains its energy concentration over the beautiful Earth, (i.e the days get longer, shows that Spring is on its way in).,
Some choose to believe that Jesus was a replica of Apollo(or Helios). Depends on what you believe.
I, however, see it both ways...and love them both the same!

Have you some kind of drug problem? To the Greeks of that day, Zeus meant GOD. Jesus was a real person. There were many who saw and wrote about HIM. HE was tortured and Murdered on the Roman Cross. IT was one of the cruelest forms of killing available at that time. HE was buried, arose from the dead, was seen by many people, wlaked among the people for 40 days and was seen by a number of people. HE was taken into heaven in front of a number of people. The New Testament was wriiten as GOD's Testament to Christians. We were first called Christians at Antioch. You need to get a Bible out, read, study, and obey HIS HOLY WORD.
Study these scriptures and see what you think. To become a Christian:
1. We must HEAR GOD’s WORD. - Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God.
2. We are told to BELIEVE. - To the Prison guard in Acts 16:31 Paul and Silas said, "Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and you will be saved, you and your household."
3. We must REPENT (turn from) of our sins. - Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent.
4. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST before men. - Matthew 10:32 "Therefore whoever confesses Me before men, him I will also confess before My Father who is in heaven.
5. We are to enter the waters and BE BAPTIZED. - Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.
6. We are told to CONTINUE TO BE FAITHFUL until death. - Revelation 2:10b Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life.
Send me a note if you have questions. I am anxious to hear from you. Have a Great day.

Jesus Christ was an angel prophet like Krishna, Buddha, Muhammed and others.
Prophets of old had groups of angels called Group Entities, which consisted of thousands of ordinary sould of BASIC spirituality only and who reside in the Mid Realms, who granted their respective spokeman Gifts from Spirit in order to impress those in the flesh andhave everyone think of them as gods. This is why we have different religions with distinctive god icons and miracles.
In fact, ALL Gifts stem from people on the Other Side.
Can all the prophets, including Jesus Christ, prove that they are the real soul of Lord Alpha, The Original Creator?
The answer is No!
Why?
Because they are not even souls of BASIC spirituality any longer. They have all descended to lower spheres and acquired Dominant Aura Colors of brown for their constant opposition to one another and to incarnates who wish to peacefully ascend as new Masters with high prospectives and expose traditional religions as vastly deceitful.
All of these false gods have failed to show COMPASSION toward innocent victims of sexual abuse in the hands of legitimate pedophiles/rapists such as priests, ministers, monks, nuns, etc.
If Jesus Christ does not and can not save victims, why would he save criminals from going to hell?
Denying COMPASSION to victims and showing LENIENCY toward all evil is EVIL and INSENTIENT!
