coult it be a reaction from immunizations that were given about a week ago in the same spot?Just itchy but no pain.

Yes, that's probably what it is. You can put a warm towel on it and it will go down soon.

If it is the size of a tennis ball in diameter you need to go get this checked out by a doc. It could be a reaction of some sort but if it is the docs will need to see and make a note of it on your charts. Get it checked out.

If your child has a "tennis ball" where his/her immunizations were given, you should contact your doctor. This is an adverse reaction from the immunization, and it should be reported to VAERS, the Vaccine Adverse Events Reporting System.

If your doctor refuses to report it, *you* should report it.

Probably some reaction to the immunization. Get it checked though.

if it was from an allergy shot, call your allergist and tell him so he can cut down your shot dose.
if it was from a vaccine, maybe you're allergic to something in the vaccine.
either way you can take some benadryl and put ice packs on it.
if you start having trouble breathing or it spreads more or the itching becomes "all over", you should go to the hospital right away.
