Me and my ex have a few mutual friends and he acts a little weird when I'm around. I try to have a good time with our friends but he dosn't really get into conversations that I start. And he dosn't really start any conversations when I'm around. He is some what avoiding me and it's a bit annoying. I'll be doing somthing and sometimes look in his direction to notice that he is looking at me which I find odd. For a while I was trying to talk to him and be friendly but it didn't seem to do much good since he didn't seem intrested in talking to me. After we broke up he said we would still be friends but we never really talk anymore. Sometimes he'll say or do somthing funny and I'll laugh and he just looks at me funny. I really want to be his friend since as long as his friends are my friends I can't completly avoid him. Why can't he just act normal around me? It's been a little more then a month and hes the one who didn't want to be with me.

He said he dosn't love me anymore, that we arn't meant to be together, we don't mesh well, we will never be together again. He has said this in emails so he must be over me so why cant he just act normal?

Boys are weird.And when you have an ex boy it can become totally weird. I mean most guys say the whole "lets be friends" line so they aren't considered such total creeps. I think he said it to be nice but didn't mean it. He prob. has some feelings left over though if he stares at you when your not watching. If i were you i would ignore him...give him the cold shoulder. Either he'll come crawlingg back..keep doing the same thing..or confront you! If he confronts you i would tell him what you told us. If he ignores u still then maybe it wasn't meant to be...i mean you tried, he has to meet you half way!And if he comes crawlin back...you decide weather it's worth what you went through!!! well he`s probally acting funny because u kno u guys just broke up and he`s probally trying to get over u but he can`t and when he`s around u he just acts funny because he know`s u guys can`t do the same things togehter u use to do when ya`ll was together so he`s probally goin to act like that for a while but if it doesn`t stop just try to talk to him alone and ask him why he is acting like that and does u being around him bothers him and if he says ya just ask him why and try to work it out and tell him u guys can do the same stuff together excpet make out and stuff

Well he's your ex(#1) Maybe he still has a thing for you. BUT don't get your hopes up. Signs if he wants you back : He still looks at you. Seems jealous when you have a boyfriend. And if you have a myspace your still his number 1 friend! HI

That's what he says,but it's obvious he still feels something for you otherwise he wouldn't be acting the way he does.And if you catch him looking in your direction when your not looking he's seeing that your doing just fine without him and it probably bothers him,he'll never admit it.Most guys expect us to be miserable once we break up with them.He probably would talk to you if he saw you wasn't happy.Just ignore him, when he can't stand it anymore he will eventually say something.

just because he doesn't love you anymore and knows things can never work out doesn't mean he may not still have feelings for you
besides have you ever considered that you may seem like you are acting wierd around him?

probally cuz he hasnt gotten over yet, hes uncomfortable with your presence. why he broke up with you could be multiple things but maybe hes just looking to bang one more time. somewhere it seems like theres something has not been finalized!

Dating Rule #55.You dont stay friends with ur ex, even if you both promise to, you dont stay friends, things will never be the same so get over it.
