I've always had A's and B's, but when I was plucked out of my school and put into another one all my good grades went kerrrrrr slashhhhhh! I have this horrible teacher who curses and threatens me, but nobody belives me! Finally I got so fed up with him giving me D's because I talked during a test I yelled at him. Now I'm in a better class that the teacher is supportive, and kind that I can do my work better. But the state passed out a law that I can't have a F adverage in any subject or get held back! I've never got held back before and I don't plan on doing that now! i don't know what my adverage is but I'm not taking any chances. What are some good ways to improve my grades again? [If you say study, give me some study tips]

First of all, I want to congradulate you on being so conscious about your grades. Secondly, I know you are angry, but talking during a test or yelling back is counter-productive. If you're still in this class I highly suggest you get someone of authority (parent, counselor, etc.) to schedule a meeting with this teacher and a staff member. Before the teacher can say anything, admit that you are sorry of any wrongdoing, yes it sucks, and verbalize that your past stands for itself as your character. I wish you well, as the school system is sometimes very unfair, but never go down without a fight. Mostly, keep up with your grades, you have a right to SEE every test and if there is a question your test were mis-recorded you have the right to raise you hand and say, Am I right that my grade is so and so???? By all means you use every piece of wisdom God has given you, record him do whatever you have to.

In the future for studying. After a test go back and see WHERE is the teacher or person making the test getting most of their material from, that is the biggest and most efficient way to know what to study for as we're all creatures of habit. I wish you best! Life is not fair, but never give up and I KNOW you will go far in life! Believe in yourself!

Try talking to a guidance counselor about your grades. You will most likely be able to get an accurate view of what your current average is and if you are in danger of being held back. You can also ask about good study tips and other methods to get you back on track. You sound as if you really care about your grades and your performance in school. Put that energy towards a strong work ethic and you will see improvement in your grades.

If you would like to find study tips on your own, try a Google search; there are plenty of online resources. Good luck! :)

Try blocking out any distractions.. these could include boyfriends, people telling you that you can't do it, wanting to go to a party or out with friends instead of study. Clear your book for when you need to study. Try getting something to snack on while you work.. find yourself a nice comfortable place, away from computers or TVs so you won't be tempted to turn them on. Turn off your phone. And focus. Take good notes, even if you dont read over them, writing it down will help stick it in your head. Try reading out loud also, which helps do the same thing. Highlight useful information to go back and look over. Ask your parents or friend to ask you questions over the material you are currently learning. Sometimes making things such as flash cards or a matching game out of index cards can help, and can be a fun alternative to reading notes. I hope this helps.

Ask the teacher. Also set a schedual of when you'll do homework after school so you don't miss an asignment. At my school people fail classes because they don't do there homework. So if u do yyour homework then u'll probley do better on test. And if you don't get the homework then ask the teacher to help you like after school evey monday (or whatever day is best for yyou) thats what I do if i need help in math. Hope that helped, sorry if it didn't

Talk with that new teacher & ask for study tips. By now, you should have good study habits, but if you don't, ask her for help.
