Yes.
It's like a conversion with a loving Father Whom you revere.

You got it! Praying to God is like having a conversation. You don't have to say anything fancy; you just have to be you.
The best way to talk is to say what's on your mind and in your heart.
All the best!

Yes by all means talk to Him like you are having a conversation and wait for Him to answer. Praying to God is conversing, telling Him all your hearts desires, giving him praise and asking for forgiveness.....

Jesus taught much about how to pray. His disciples asked Him how to pray and he gave a model example of what to pray. You should read the gospels and talk to God about what you read in the Bible. He loves you and already knows all about Him. He wants you to know about Him just as intimately.

God is always near to talk to. I find it much more spiritual than formal prayer although I do that too.
If something wonderful happens, I thank him with my emotions more than my words.
Does that make sense?
Heck, even doing the garden knowing I am doing things for us and His people (give away extra veggies etc) is prayer. Knowing my flowers make people smile, makes the creation and upkeep of my garden a prayer.
Does that make sense?
Whatever keeps you on the right path, it matters not how you speak to him. What matters is that you do. Heck he does not have to HEAR your words either, you can have the convo in your mind. That is prayer too.

Yes, prayer is communicating with God talking to Him as your Heavenly Father with reverence and respect. It is totally appropriate as He created us for that reason...for fellowship with Him. Conversations are a two way street - remember to stop and listen to what He has to say to you as well.

When praying to God, what He wants most is an earnest heart and an unveiled face. There is no set way to do it. Do it the way that feels right and good to you:)

well aparently god pur your question before me, because i went over praer in church 3 sundays ago and prayer is knee-mail to god lol. but seriously when tou pray, angels hhavto fight demons to keep a link between you and god- a direct one. you say what you want big or small, because your worries are gods wories, regardless of wether they are big or small, and then you dont have to worry about it anymore because its on gods list.prayer is also a good way to thank the lord for what he has given. in prayer, anything goes. :)

A conversation generally requires two participants. Talking to god is like talking into a telephone -- which is presenting dial tone.

Why not. It is personal. You need to be reverant and thankful to him but why not have a conversation with him sometimes. Sometimes you need to just get on your knees and worship him as well but if thats how you get your spirituality ignited I say no harm no foul.
God Bless
