when god sent his pedophile representatives to instill faith in the children then I knew faith is not the answer.

Interesting you use that word. I have thought when I am studying the bible that it's very much like "mining for treasure". The wisdom and power of the word of God can be found in reading it, meditating on His word, and of course, being a doer of His word. Unlike earthly treasures however, which can lose their sheen or break down under closer scrutiny, the treasure of God becomes even more perfect, the closer you look.

I have just today returned from the hospital. I have a bad heart and 2 anurisms. My family was frantic. One of the anurisms had begun to bleed. I began to talk to my Father. I was given peace unlike any I had experienced before. The bleeding stopped and I lived. This was not supposed to happen but it did. I am not amazed just grateful, I know that my Jesus will do what is best for me. Now I must find the reason for the treasure given me. I pray that I will use it wisely.

Spiritual treasures of the heart (mind or soul).

Well there was that time when I was five and after being drug off to church I got a quarter out of the offering plate as it went by. But , alas, I just couldn't get into the moneymaking aspects of religion and haven't gone back....
