ok your excues of not believe in the prophet of Islam (Muhammad) that he wasn't jewish, he had many wives, he declare war.

well, Jesus was born from among of you, he had no wives, he born from a virgin, never delcare war, and show miracles.

so that's mean, the problem is not about Muhammad, but it's about being stubborn, right?

Primo, Mohammad bin Abd'allah al Quraishi was a Jew! The son of Abd'allah and Amina of the beni al Quraish Jews! Abd'allah, Mohammad's father was a Quraishi, which is a Jew! Amina was a Wahabi. So, you're wrong there. I seriously wonder why is it that a lot of Jews and Muslims don't know that Mohammad was a Jew???? Why do you think he was circumcised and wore a yarmulke? It was his wife Khadija bint Khuwaylid who took him to her relative, Waraqa bin Nofal, a Christian Missionary, where Mohammad learnt about Jesus and became His greatest fan! In fact, Mohammad considered himself more Christian than the Christians! Who do you think all the Muslims are waiting for, who'll come back and redeem all of them for having been His True Followers - Jesus!?

Secundo, Jesus or Yeshua benYosef al Nazrany, also, was a Jew.

Terrio, Mohammad believed in Jesus and, in fact, considered himself to be more Christian than the Christians, who he claimed had been lead astray.

Quarto, however, I do not see the rationale of your question, because the Jews rejected Jesus despite His living so pure and His Miracles. Naturally, they rejected Mohammad because of his faults!

Where's the connection?

If I'm not mistaken, you're a Muslim trying to say "OK, you Jews rejected Mohammad because he'd had so many wives and fought wars and so on; then why don't you accept Jesus, because He lived a Saintly Life and performed so many Miracles?" The answer to that has already been given to you by gratvol.

If I may advise you, quoting from the Qua'ran, please remember that Allah and Mohammad say "Let those that will not hear the word be left in peace and with respect of the right hand. For your way is your way and mine is mine." Please learn to follow the teachings of the Qua'ran.

I hope you Jews and Muslims will not find a Christian speaking in your midst offensive and beg you to pardon me for the intrusion.

Pax vobiscum, pax dominic!

All the best!

Cheers!

You really need to read the Gospel of John.

Jesus states that the miracles that God performed were for the Jew to believe. But some didn't.

Today, after a 2000 years, you will here the same rationalization such as Jesus did not completely fulfill the requirements of the Jewish Messiah. That Jesus wasn't a prophet. Or that God did not raised Jesus from the dead.

So your question should read: if Jews did not believe Jesus, why would they ever believe Muhammad.

The reason why Jews do not beleive Jesus was the Messiah was that he fulfilled none of the requirements for being the Messiah.

This has absolutely nothing to do with Mohammed.

The truth in that case is that Muslims themselves do not equate him with the Messiah of the Old Testament so ni that case the question is totaly different which is "Why don't Jews consider him a prophet?" And in that case, the reason is because he does not fulfill the requirements to be a prophet.
Although it is true that it is possible for a non Jew to recieve a message from G-d (see Balaam), nevertheless, his job is not to prophesize to Jews. Secondly, a prophet cannot advocate for Jews to turn away from their religion, which is what Mohammed esentially did when he advocated Jews to follow his own religion. Thirdly, prophecy ended about 300 years before the birth of Jesus. That being the case, Mohommed cannot be a prophet.
Thus, in conclusion, both Jesus and Mohammed are irrelevant to Judaism.
If you think about it, that makes sense.
I don't expect a Muslim to belive in Budha nor do I expect a Christian too.
Why is it so hard for you to accept that Jews do not beleive anything outside their own religion... just like every other religion?

You asked this question before and I'll give you the same answer I did then.

Neither are accepted, not for the made-up reasons you mentioned, but the Jewish ones. In order to be a messiah, a person has to fulfill every prophecy in the Tanakh before he dies. It's that simple. Neither J*sus or Muhammad did these things.

Well Mohammad was not a Messiah, just a prophet. Most people dnt know his story. He used to go to this cave, where he could be alone, to sit and think about the world. In his time in Arabia, people prayed to stone statues, and he didnt believe it was right. He couldnt read or write, and in his time people were very into beautiful poetry in arabic and writng stories in arabic (just like in moses time, they liked magic). one night the Angle Gabriel came to him, telling him to read. Mohammad told him I can't read/ Gabriel then recited the first relevation to Mohammad, and Mohammad would memorize the relevations made to him and then preach the teachings. People were amazed that a man that could not read or write could cme up with such beautiful verses, if you ever read the quran it sounds beautifull. He didnt declare wars, he would send a messanger to a country, ask they convert, if they did not he would just invade, and over throw the government. In Islam it is wrong to kill civilians, woman, children, nature, and property, so they were not as barbaric as the Crusades. It would become and ISlamic republic, but if the people wanted to stay Christian, they could becaue in Islam you cannot force people to convert.

First....I could barely understand your question. Your obviously not a native speaker...so I'll try to make this simple.

We don't accept either of them as prophets becayse neither fulfilled the prophecy of the Torah. Jesus and Muhammad also both changed the law...and the Torah says that only false prophets will change the law.

Is that stubborn enough for you?

We don't want your prophets...leave us alone.

Muhammed wasn't Jewish. He was Arab. Jews have a complete religious philosophy and tradition of their own, and mostly a remarkable one. There is a lot to learn from the Jewish tradition. The issues for Jews are really quite simple once you get to researching it and talking about it:

1. Jerusalem with access and claim over Temple Mount and the most holy city in all of Judaism,
2. historical persecution and injustice,
3. Israel's right to self-defence and security,
4. protection, support and international aid to protect them from Palestinian militancy,
5. A need to protect their sovereign state by rejecting Palestinian claims to the 'right of return',
6. an end to racism,
7. Language, culture and religious rights.

Jews have not got self belief in Jesus as God simply by fact we've self belief in one God and once you start up including up God the father and God the Son and God the Spirit - in accordance to our math...you have 3 and not one. in spite of everything, our ideals are based on the Torah and a handbook e book of ethical and ethical residing. in case you eliminate Jesus, you haven't any longer any faith. in case you eliminate Mohammed, you haven't any longer any faith. In Judaism, we've not got any single prophet who determines the fee of the whole faith simply by fact we've the Torah, which teaches us the thank you to stay and behave morally and ethically. the clarification we've not got self belief in Jesus or Mohammed as prophets is as a results of the fact our faith says that people who communicate against the techniques of the Torah are fake prophets - the two Jesus and Mohammed went against the guidelines of the Torah. As for Mohammed, properly, we've not got self belief that murdering harmless human beings with a view to get seventy two virgins is the thank you to martyrdom. a faith in reaction to terrorism and homicide...properly, that basically isn't the Jewish way. As for Jesus - properly, enable's say this...if Christians might stick to the instructions of Jesus...and not blame the Jews for issues we did no longer even do...the international could be a extra desirable place. And, for Mohammed...if the Moslems might stick to the Koran extra desirable - and not their leaders who twist it to get what they choose for - there too, the international could be a extra non violent place. As for Jesus being born "between us" - we're not people who "declare" that, the Christians are. specific, Jesus by no potential declared conflict or killed all people - if purely the followers of Mohammed ought to declare a similar element.

Hmm.. they don't believe Jesus was the Messiah. It's pretty simple.

2007-02-17 15:14:55 · answer #9 · answered by Anonymous · 2 0

its simple the Messiah has particular requirements that he needs to do in his life time.

Jesus failed to meet those goals. Its nothing personal.

the website here will describe in detail what I am referring to. If though you want to think its because we are stubborn you are free to think that as well.
