I was 20, only had it for about a year so yes i still love it, and always will. Its a sunflower and on my upper back because my grandmother was the only one who was really there for me growing up and her favorite flower was a sun flower. She died when I was 16 but was always encouraging and even said she would come with me to get my first tattoo when I turned 18.

I got my first tat when I was 18. When I was 18, my Grandmother died of breast cancer. We were very close. So, I got a tattoo of a pink ribbon with her birth year above and death year below. It's on the outside of my ancle. I still like it for what it represents, but I want something more artistic now. I'm thinking about adding something around it. My second tat was a tattoo of Gary the snail from Spongebob. He's my favorite tattoo. A good friend of mine I worked with died because of a car accident. At work, we had a lot of fun. We'd talk about spongebob episodes. It seemed appropriate and it's really cute. My third one is big and means a lot to me, but no one else really understands it. For my birthday this year, I had a scar done. They cut angel wings in my back. I love them.

At age 17 I got a rose tattoo on my upper arm. Friends at the time said females shouldnt get tats on their arms so I did because I beleive in equality for all. Therefore my tat was a sign of my liberation.
Now I want it removed because its faded and the outlines too thick. The shadings good and I love the fact it was done by a popular tattooist whose now died but still all the fashions are strappy tops and I dont like to wear them because I prefer to hide my tattoo and look clean cut. Really I do still like it but its the way people react that I dont like. Its like a message to them and they make a judgement on you for having it. When I go out to party I show it sometimes but mainly I hide it. I should have got one in a more discreet spot. Looks like the friends were right!!!!

19, did it cos i was told i was too cowardly to get it. walked into the first shop i could. its upside down, and the quality is apauling, especially since it wasnt cheap. 3 hours of pain for some blueish yellow orchids with a kinda pink red haze that still looks "infected" 3 yrs on that were supposed to be purple with no haze, its on the right of ym navel.
But hey i didnt know any better back then, Having them made pretty and into a twisted vine when i get the time (so it doesnt matter that theyre upside down) because i still like the design i drew, just wasnt done very well.

I was 27 when i got it... 3 butterflies: small-medium-large (represents myself and my 2 children)...on the inside of my left leg above my ankle...I absolutely still love it to this day and plan on getting another really soon...thinking about having some of the colors from my new tattoo added to my old one to help refresh the colors some.

He has 4. a dead koi, a eagle with a dagger through it and a snake wrapped around the knife. very updated version of a old navy tatoo has a scroll that read i will carry on for you. In memory of his grandpa, and the he has two tattoos on his wrist, one on each. reading across Reaching Out(on right wrist) For You(on left wrist). HE loves them, is getting many more. :)

I got my first tat on my stomach when I was 16..(I was sneaky and used a friends ID). It WAS a butterfly, I LOVED it, and I could cover up with a quarter........then at 18 I got prego, had a baby, and now it looks more like a tara-dack-tal! I don't really mind it, I can cover it with a fifty cent piece now. Anyways, I have a sweet tat on my back now between my shoulder blades, and I'm getting another around my ankle very soon....good luck with yours!

I was 30 when I got my first one (and my mom STILL yelled at me LOL) I am 34 now and have gotten 4 more since that one (and my mom yells at me for every one of 'em!) My first one was a life-sized (5") 'ticked off Tink' complete with pixie dust...and yes I still love her. In fact, I love all the ink I've gotten...one of the benefits to taking your time and getting ink that has meaning to you, not just something you think is "kewl" or "pretty".
