I used to do about 3-4 grams of mushrooms every other day for about 3 years, sometimes even 8 grams in one sitting. And mostly 3 hits of acid regularly. I am 27 years old now and a fully certified accountant. But I have heard this will affect me mentally in the later years of my life. How sound true is this?

As you might have guessed, there isn't a whole bunch of clinical evidence on this subject :) So you will have to rely on the anecdotal.

If you haven't had any flashback experiences yet, chances are that you probably will not. I have personally experienced two flashback episodes in my lifetime, and both of them were after smoking a little pot, so I wouldn't worry too much if I were you. Obviously as you are now a fully certified accountant, your brain is not fried as some people might suggest!

Just don't smoke a bowl while you are doing your clients' tax returns, and you will be just fine.

I don't believe it. I am 50 now, a successful business owner and former corporate executive in a highly technical field. I also went to college at UC Berkeley and partied a lot. Have never had a single flashback from the acid or the peyote or shrooms. Personal opinion, its scare tactics.

That isn't meant to endorse the use of drugs. Many of my friends through the years did manage to fry their brains, sometimes on the first try of something. Some became addicted to something and ruined their lives. Others are dead. It isn't worth the risk.

Well from what i have heard yes. But if you are clean now and living healthy you may be able to change it around. I heard that it kills brain cells and does damage but i think people can produce more brain cells and parts of the body grow back. It takes time and healing for your body to do that. I am NOT a doctor but my sister used to it and she sometimes gets flashbacks but no problems. hope this helps.takecare.

Your brain is pretty much fried dude. Hope you don't have a flashback during a big client meeting.

Yes it is true. Especially if you have blotter acid or mescalin.
