He does the little "playing piano" or "kneading dough" thing on the nearest blanket or pillow. Then gets a funny look in his eyes and proceeds to mount my arm, or my boyfriends arm. He doesnt make the humping motion, but he get a *****. When I try to shoo him off or push him off he gets violent and tries to bite. I dont know what to do, if its normal, or how to fix it. Help!

My cat is 11 years old and has been neutered since he was a kitten. He still humps. Buy him a teddy bear, about his size, he will love it and it will save you, your boyfriend and your blankets. My cat loves his teddy bear and carries him throughout the house. Although your cat has been neutered, it is part of their nature.

Cats do the "kneading dough" thing for completely different reasons that have nothing to do with reproduction. If you have ever watched kittens nurse from the mother cat you would notice that they "knead" the mother's belly next to the nipple they are suckling on. Kittens do this instinctively to get/keep the mother's milk flowing to the nipple. For some reason this instinct sticks around and all adult cats will do this from time to time, typically when they are content, and making some sort of bed or "nest" to lay in.

If you want him to stop the humping problem, I would suggest to get some sort of squirt bottle or water pistol. Cats do not respond to physical punishment the way dogs do, and the fact that the humping thing is a sexual thing makes the problem even more dynamic and complicated. Ideally the best way the water gun trick works is for the cat to get squirted and not know where the water is coming from, so they learn to associate getting wet with the undesired behavior. Of course, if you are alone then the cat is obviously going to see that YOU are squirting him (in this case) but it still does work to curb unwanted behavior. Telling the cat "no" or "stop" in the typical, stern voice helps too, just not the swatting/pushing part of the punishment.
