My brother and his girlfriend broke up. A few months later they got back together and they are married with children now.

Everytime I dated the guys came back. I really felt the pain of the break up and got over it. I am a sincere girl but once it's done it's done. I do know it can work out for you though, everyone is different, don't build your hopes by answers. Go out and make it happen!

MMMM . Seriously, I don't think it's really possible either. If the couple broke up for a good reason that was getting in the way of the relationship, then it wouldn't be healthy if they got back together. And I doubt it would work. :]

i went out with my bf for two years then we broke up for a year, when we got back together i realized that even though we broke up the first time in a moment of rash decision and have regretted for 12 months, that we have both grown completely apart and that the only thing that held us together the second time was how we used to feel about each other the first time...! i dont know if this makes sense to you, but i think sometimes it works for the best and sometimes you just know that you broke up for a reason the first time and u should keep that in mind..
i hope it all goes well with you
best of luck xx

It totally depends on the reason the break-up occurred in the first place:

Possibility:
1.) misunderstanding
2.) abrupt eruption of anger
3.) distance
4.) childhood/high school relationship
5.) dealing with personal problem

Probably not possible:
1.) just not attracted
2.) infidelity
