I mean when a christian comes on and say I think im losing my faith because my auntie died and i've had a really bad few weeks.
Doesnt it make you sick - if an atheist was christian I bet they'd have the integrity to follow a belief system for its own sake and not just when things were good.
Its like they come on saying, im 20 years old and i moved out of my folks place, i got in a fight and lost a tooth - i put it under my pillow and the tooth fairy didnt come - im not sure i believe in it anymore?
As if we'd be proud to have such a person as a fellow atheist.
Atheists arent people who are annoyed at god, we just know he doesnt exist.
Clear?

Christians typically have all the answers until something happens to them that shakes their faith, and rattles the very foundation of what they believe in. And its not usually anything that we as atheists can say, its something that happens in their own lives that they can't understand. On the other hand, we as atheists don't usually "doubt" as much ... when things go well, we don't start thinking that there might be a god. We're steady in our minds about our lack of beliefs and anything beyond concrete evidence isn't going to be enough to change this.

the difficulty with "insult" is that some human beings think of even thinking or doubting their ideals is an insult. Sorry yet insults are possibly going to stick around for a mutually as, enormously if human beings decide to play sufferer video games.

Maybe the tooth fairy does exist and just thought you had been bad and didn't deserve a dollar.
Christians have integrity. Following Christ is tough. And everyone's faith gets weak at times.

But yet calling Atheists self absorbed would be an insult?
Am I allowed the same courtesy to say I KNOW God exists?
You don't BELIEVE God exists, you don't KNOW. Just like me, I BELIEVE God exists, I have faith. To know would constitute proof. Can you prove he doesn't? One day I believe we will prove he does.
Don't be annoyed by me either, just understand as I try to understand why you DON'T believe. That is where tolerance starts.
God Bless

Speak for yourself. I didn't choose to be an atheist to make friends, and be called a "fellow atheist". You're taking your beliefs way too seriously. Instead of insulting that person for having doubts in their religion, why don't you congratulate them for finally realizing the truth? Isn't that what most atheists want? For christians to see the real truth, that God doesn't exist?

Although it's normal I think for a believer to feel a bit disheartened with it all if they or someone they love is going through a rough time. I have my doubts someone like that would necessarily become one of us if they were not already in the process of it...
But yes, the "annoyed at god" spiel and other things though does annoy and insult me.

I don't know if I'd say I'm INSULTED, but I do think that that person doesn't understand what atheism is. Atheism has nothing to do with being angry with God. If you're angry with God, then you still believe in God.

Well it doesn't really make me sick- if christians want to lose faith, why complain? It's not hurting us atheists.

It's easy to talk about losing Faith when you HAVE NONE to lose , isn't it?
Aren't you atheists always telling us we should QUESTION our Faith? well when someone does, now you mock them! Make up your minds!
EDIT:
You're crippled, (and blind) but you just don't know it, Honey!!
Just so you know, I don't know of too many Christians who HAVEN'T questioned God at one point in their life or another. God's a big boy! He can hold up under scrutiny! There's nothing wrong with expressing honest emotions to Him when you're hurting. He understands. Unlike certain atheists on this forum!
