Check your firewall and your security level settings. Make sure either or is not set to not to accept/allow certain programs.

Go to download.com and try downloading something else (besides Adobe). I've had numerous problems with Adobe's downloads.

Try using an ethernet cable (direct wired connection) to your router (internet connection). If this works, it's your wireless. Sometimes wireless cards (especially "B" cards) fail if someone is using a cordless 2.4 ghz phone. One last thing, make sure your pop-up blocker is not on while downloading. Many sites open a new window to download.

Is it a new set-up, or have you just recently encountered this problem?
