my boyfriend recently decided we should take a break cuz i was being too clingy in the relationship...i feel like i can hold a better relationship if i get another chance. but i dont know how to get him to want to try again. maybe playing hard to get? but i live 100 miles away now, and i visit every 2 weeks. is it possible to make sparks? i still love him and care for him dearly<3

If you really want the relationship back... you gotta first give him some time, respect that he wants a break.
Second, understand that the reason of you being too clingy probably was scaring him off. He doesn't want to think his girl needs to be hanging on to him all the time, it'll only make him feel like he can't do anything without you coz you want him to be there all the time... soo if you ever do get the relationship back, you gotta show him that you can do stuff on your own too... and that you can give him his space...
To get him back... just continue to talk to him, via phone or watever, but not ALL the time... make him wonder what you're up to, if you don't call him for a week or so... don't necessarily have to play hard to get coz he already had you so he'll think it's silly and will catch on if you play that game... but just let him know that you still care and love him by being a friend when he needs one.... just don't be too clingy!

Work on developing yourself!
A more interesting person makes for a more interesting relationship. And in the long run, even if the relationship doesn't work out, you haven't lost anything by enriching your life. Don't let him dictate whether you get another chance- take control!!!!!!

Distances never matter in true love. Today people are running after body love which is short lasting as after enjoying one you starts to think about other. One must be loyal to close relationship & i.e. soul relationship not body. When love is in mind distance never matter as speed of mind is very fast & i.e the true love.
