Every sociological phenomenon is effected by the climate and geography in which it emerges. For example, baseball (which is relatively slow-paced) emerged where it's too hot to play continuous-running games duirng mid-summer.

What elements of any of the three Abrahamic Faiths reflect the desert climate and geography of the Middle East where they were "born"?

(Feel free to comment on faithe effects with which you are fairly familiar.)

The ions in the air in the mideast caused the Jews to have above average intelligence and Christianity and Islam evolved from that.

To mpcagk: Your answer is for the most part good, but one problem. The people in jerusalem at that time were not Jews, but Jebusites. Jews came from the line of Abraham and the Mosaic law had not been give when Abraham lived.

while you're asking if all 3 originated in the midsection-east then definite. How ever they immediately unfold from the midsection-east to embody the globe. right this is in simple terms slightly information which you will locate thrilling. Muhammad the founding father of Islam replaced right into a caravan dealer who replaced into raised with polytheistic ideals. He traveled to what's now Jordan, the place he met a Christian and a Jew. After discussing there ideals in a monotheistic god, he went homestead and destroyed the temple to the polytheistic gods and commenced to have visions from Ala. So without a christian and a Jew to sway him there could have under no circumstances been one in each and every of those element as Islam.

the sumerian settler Abraham had to find a place to settle in a hostile enviroment while at this time cities were controled by priests who each had a prefference in some gods, making stories and developing the same religion usualy or influencing after time another, through myths.in the dry desert all he could find was that caves area but other tribes who were there before, wouldn't let him settle.he went on war with three of them having ensured(he was an excellent diplomat)peace with the closest city of (jeru)salem which was governed ofcaurse by a priest.though he believed(ofcaurse he didn't)in the gods of his birth-city(the sumerian city of Ur),he said he had also been worshiping the jerusalem's god and he would pay his tribute to the city's priest as a present for god.he won the war and became god's priest though it was not allowed for a non jew due to the mosaic law.but he still chose a sumerian woman for isaac.RELIGIONS IN THE AREA WERE INVENTED ABOUT 2000 YEARS BEFORE ABRAHAM,IN THE SUMERIAN CITIES,TO SOLVE PROBLEMS LIKE THE CLEANING OF THE CANNALS-WHICH REQUIRED EXPERT PLANNING-AND THE DIVISION OF IRRIGATED LAND,WATER AND THE CORPS-WHICH DEMANDED POLITICAL CONTROL-.TEMPLE COMMUNITIES WERE FORMED,IN WHICH A CLASS OF PRIEST BEAUROCRATS CONTROLED THE ECONOMICAL AND POLITICAL LIFE IN THE NAME OF THE GODS.the priests even got to the point to claim that mortals were created to enable the gods to give up working,so they all were gods slaves.

Well, In Islam, Due to drought and lack of vegetation in the desert (although not all Arab countries are deserts.) During Ramadan Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Would give his food, which was only bread and a date, to someone less fortunate. Which is why we fast for 30 days until sunset. The moral of the story was to always be kind to the needy and not to take what you have for granted.

:) Hope I helped. God Bless.

islam is not an Abrahamic faith since it stems from the bast*** child Ishmael and not the chosen son Isaac. Please do not consider it connected to Judaism or Christianity, because it is not. False prophets come from Satan so I am sure islam is used to the heat.

May God Bless you.
