How did Middle Eastern Climate & Geography effect Judaism, Christianity & Islam?

Every sociological phenomenon is effected by the climate and geography in which it emerges. For example, baseball (which is relatively slow-paced) emerged where it's too hot to play continuous-running games duirng mid-summer.

What elements of any of the three Abrahamic Faiths reflect the desert climate and geography of the Middle East where they were "born"?

Well, In Islam, Due to drought and lack of vegetation in the desert (although not all Arab countries are deserts.) During Ramadan Prophet Muhammad (peace be upon him) Would give his food, which was only bread and a date, to someone less fortunate. Which is why we fast for 30 days until sunset. The moral of the story was to always be kind to the needy and not to take what you have for granted.
