ive been going out with this guy and he only tells me that he loves me when he's drunk. im a little confused

Maybe he doesn't know how to say it sober. He could be nervous and needs false courage(alcohol) to get it out.

how long have you been going out with this guy? If it only been a week or two then he was drunk and that what he said and guy say really nasty thinks to girl they like when they are drunk well some of them. If its been more then 2 monththen maybe he said you don't love him back so that why he wait to tell you when he was drunk. but i am out of stuff to tell you so i guess all you can do is follow want your heart tell you what to do!

Its a tough one! I ll tell you a short story. I met a guy from online, we talked on the phone for maybe a week or less and the first night we met, he had been drinking and he told me that he loved me and that he was gonna marry me and all that weird stuff drunk guys say. I didnt believe him and laughed at him every time he told me that... Well, we are still together 4 months later and are actually engaged Haha go figure. I told my wife (GF at the time) that I loved her when I was drunk. We have been together for 5 years and been married 3 out of those 5. So then again you never know. However I dont drink anymore so I dont want to sound like a freakin drunk.

You can't believe anything he says because he's a drunk. Especially when he says he loves you. If he can't tell you when he's sober then it's all a lie. It's all a lie anyway that you need to beware of. If you stay in a relationship with a person who drinks you're in for nothing but trouble. Alcohol is the supreme ruin of countless lives. Well, how often does he get drunk? If its alot then i think hes not the right man. I personally think that he shouldn't just say he loves you just when hes drunk, he should be aware that he is saying it and he should mean it and not just saying it. To tell a person that you love them it has to come from the heart or else is not meaningful. Maybe sit with him one on one at talk to him about it, like about his drunkness, not about the 'i love you' part. Good luck!

Likely, he does not love you for real. If the only time he loves you is when he is drunk, I would look for another mate. He is no use to you when he is sober, and he is no use to you when he is drunk. Alcohol impairs a person, so take what he says with a grain of salt.

Well , ether hes not one of those guys who tell girls i love you because it sounds cheesy to him. Alot of guys are like that....give him time and it should work out or become clear he has no real feelings for you. But only you can make that decision.
