My old one used the sx-70 film which is discontinued. I want to buy a new model that someone can recommend strongly that will use a more accessible film type (600 i suppose).

Thanks for the tips, 10 points to the most helpful!

Polaroid has been in bankruptcy. They may still have a model or two, there won't be much to choose from, most likely. Two films are available, 600 and Spectra, now called Image. My lab carries the film, but not the cameras, best bet would be WallyWorld, or visit Polaroid's web site.
You have heard about digital cameras? They are the new, better Polaroid. Cheaper, too, in the long run.
