There is tangible proof that the Holocaust took place, yet there are still people that deny its existence.

It wouldn't matter if there was "proof" or not that God exists, it is possible that people would still deny the Existence.

That said, here is my modest attempt...

We live in a temporal world - there is a beginning and an end to all things. Here is where the paradox occurs in the theory that there is no God - what was before the beginning? If there was something before the beginning, then what was before that?

The only logical conclusion is that there is something OTHER than a temporal realm - something Non-Temporal - an existence outside of time... an Absolute and Infinite Existence.

There is a theory of infinite velocity. Very simply explained, when infinite velocity is reached, one could occupy every corner of the universe at the same time. You would be able to see the future and the past all at the same time.

It makes sense that there would be something "infinite" out there, that could occupy everything at once and be in any "time" at once, because IT exists out of time. IT IS Existence.

So, we must conclude that Existence, in and of itself is Good and can only be capable of Good. Consequently, anything that tries to defy Existence would be "Evil." (namely, Satan) - but that is for another discussion.

Since we are living in a temporal world, the temporal existence has a beginning and an end, and therefore must have a Creator. The only possible creator is Infinite Existence itself - God.

From this, we can conclude that God is a sentient Being, capable of Creating anything and Doing anything and what comes from God can only be "Good" as Existence itself can only be Good.

Does this prove God's existence? I don't know...

There are many things in my life that have "proven" His existence. They are personal and are different for every individual. To me, they have been concrete, but for others, they could easily dismiss my experiences as mere coincidence, freakish events, or even my imagination.

As for scientific exploration, all scientific evidence that people have presented, trying to claim deny His existence, only confirms my belief that He DOES exist. The scientific evidence on evolution and the theories that have come about are ALL possible with an Absolute Creator. On the contrary, there are plenty of scientific theories that would be impossible Without a Creator.

If God is Existence, then everything He created comes from Him and from nowhere else. What is even more astounding is (if you believe in the Bible) is that God has made us in His own image and likeness. That means, unlike the animals of the world, we have a special closeness with God than nothing else has. We can have a relationship with God because He is everything and everywhere. In our every action and every word, we can be communicating with God.

I used to wonder why, if God wanted to have a relationship with us, he wouldn't just come down and verbally "talk" to everyone. But He does! That's the beauty of it. Verbal "Language" is what we do with each other - but there are SO many other ways of communicating that we don't often think about and that many of us partake in on a daily basis. If God is Everything, than He can communicate in ANY manner - through a thought, a touch, music, a sunset, ANYTHING! Just in our everyday life, every action and thought we do and have, good or bad, we are communicating with God and likewise, He is communicating with us - although it is not always in the way we are expecting or hoping.

Again, does this prove God exists? Well, define "prove." If "proving" means getting everyone to agree on the same exact thing without a shadow of a doubt, then I hardly think so. I hardly expect my long-winded response to suddenly "prove" God's existence and unite the world ;-) This is (a very small part of) my reasoning of God's existence. I could continue on in great detail my thoughts and experiences, but from fear of boring you all to death, I feel I must refrain.

Anyway, this is my "proof." Analyze away! :-)

Wow, nice proof!

You are obviously struggling with the need of a proof of God.

One of my favorite movies was "Contact". There was a line between Jodie Foster & Mathew M:

"Did you love your father?" MM
"Yes" JF
""Prove it." MM

We have not evolved far enough to understand our place.

no
You fail to see the fallacy with your initial assumption, you write, "We live in a temporal world - there is a beginning and an end to all things. Here is where the paradox occurs in the theory that there is no God"

-Well the same paradox occurs in a theory FOR the existence of a God. If everything has a beginning and an end, then God must have had a creator and a beginning as well. You can not simply say, "Well God is unbound and therefore the rules do not apply to him". That is completely illogical. You either have
A)a God that was created from nothing therefore allowing for the possibility that something can come from nothing and this means that the theory of the Big Bang (which has been proven by the way) is just as viable because something can come from nothing.
(or)
B)An existence where everything comes from something, and you therefore have to admit that God was created or came from something.

...you can't have your cake and eat it too. you do not get to make the exceptions to the rules.

To refute your other points:
-There is no such thing as infinite velocity. The concept of infinity only exists in mathematics. You are COMPLETELY forgetting that there IS a limit to velocity. Nothing can travel faster than the speed of light. This has also been proven.
-"Proofs" exist only in mathematics
-your conclusion that anything capable of existence must be "good", is completely illogical and you make no points to prove this. Furthermore, existentialist philosophy points to something completely different. It says that no life is inherently good, all life is born an empty vessel. The term "existentialism" literally means "existence precedes essence". Therefore something is not simply good because it exists.

This is an age old question that we may or may never know even after death we may never know. According to science, and Athiests, He does not exist. According to religious types and people with faith, He does exist. According to Agnostics, He may or may not exist. But now back to the beginning, if He does exist, maybe one day He will show himself or let Himself known to the people, or in the Afterlife, as the Doctrine states, if you are good then you will be allowed in Heaven when God lives. Although it's also possible that there may not be an Afterlife but He still does exist for us to never know at all. Then there is also the belief that He does not at all exist nor does Heaven exist, this is the Athiest belief of what God is. For myself personally, I don't think I believe in Heaven, as much as I would absolutely like to, there is just nothing in my mind that will let me believe that Heaven exists and there are Angels with white robes and peace for all of the rest of your post life on Earth time. Although, I do believe there is a God, not the God that is in pictures with the white robe, long beard, halo, and everything else, but some form of higher entity that we don't know about and may never know about, but I believe there has to be something out there that is more powerful than anything else, some entity that basically in all other terms is...God.

I couldn't have said it better myself! I see proof of God the same way you do, and I'm stupified by all the interpretations either for or against the existence of God. The profound differences expressed by various religions as to the how, what, where, when and why of God, Allah, Jesus, Saints Peter, Paul and Mary, and whatever other names man chooses to refer to, in the myriad translations of the word of God, through all our various cultures, just boggles the mind! One Creator, One God, but a hundred thousand million ways this message is conveyed! Too bad much of organized religion has created so much death and destruction throughout the centuries in the name of God and still continuing to this day! I will pray that more individuals on this planet will come to see God ,as you and I do, with this clarity and purity of heart! God bless us all!

Does God Exist? Need proof? Don't know if I can help with tangible proof but I think that electricity exists because of the results. I think air exists and mangetisim exists for the same reasons. Therefore when I see a fresh born baby or feel Love towards someone I believe that God exists for the same reason RESULTS

Of course the Bible is not the only proof of God's existence! Just open your eyes and take a look at creation all around you.....Do you think all this just happened?
The awesome beauty of Creation is a wonderful expression of God's love....yet some still choose to ignore it...

However, for those of us who know and talk to God daily we have experiential proof He exists....everything from answered prayers to peace of mind....you name it ; we have allowed His Holy Spirit to come into us....and we hear His voice daily AND see the wonderful results of His intervention in our lives.

You cannot intrude into that type of evidence however until you act on God's Word and let Him into your life through faith in Jesus Christ.
That type of experiential proof is reserve for those who put their trust in Christ

Of course He exists. How else could the world be created? You know for yourself, anyway. God says that He has put Himself into the minds of everyone.

Please read my words carefully:
If you see footmark in the sand, you'll say that someone passed from here...
If you see a piece of dog sh*t on the ground, you'll say that a dog passed from here...
So what about the enormous universe, the sky, stars, planets, earth and all the beauty in it, doesn't it lead to that someone made it?!!!

Some people say that everything is created by itself after the big-bang... I won't ask you about what caused the big-bang, but I'll ask you a simple question:
If you take all the letters of the alphabet, multiples of them, and you threw them randomly on the floor. Do you expect (by a chance of one in infinity) to get a poem like shakespear's??!!

Can't you see how organized our universe is, the planets, the eco-system on earth, look even in your own body... Can you control your heart-beat? Can you control your breath while you're sleeping? Who stopped your eye-lashes from growing after reaching a certain length? Who told the baby turtles to move towards the sea and not to the earth after they come out of their eggs? Who taught the bird how to make nests?

My friend, think with your heart and brain. If you're still lost, think about the following:

Do you know how to play safe?
Your point:
If there's no God and you do all what you want in life, then nothing will happen to you after life. But if there was God and you were mistaken, then you'll blame yourself FOREVER...

Believer's point:
If there's God and I followed His commands in life, then I'll be in Heaven after life FOREVER. But if there was no God and we're mistaken, then nothing bad will happen to us after life...

Now you know how to play-safe, in case you're not convinced?

I'm not going to analyze your statement, just comment on it. It takes faith-truly like that of a trusting child- to believe in God's existence. Most of us trust that there's a something out there that's bigger than us but don't know what it is. We also trust that the engineering on a plane will sustain us while flying, though we don't quite understand aerodynamics. I believe that God exists and my faith in Him is a Gift from Him.
