Well part of your problem is you dont have a healthy understanding of the trinity or tri-unity of God. God is 3 in person, 1 in essence-Father, Son, HS. We dont have to fully understand it in order to follow God, just believe it.
Forgiveness ultimately comes from God the Father because he is the head over all. However he has entrusted Jesus to do the judging on judgment day and he is going to judge unbelievers for their sins and judge whether believers were actually following him or not. It can be said though that forgiveness didnt really come until Christ came so it really could be said either way. Jesus said if youve seen him, youve seen the Father. What one does, the other does. They are of the same spiritual essence.

Whether you feel it makes sense or not...does not alter the reality of God and His nature.
God presents the opportunity for salvation of your eternal soul thru His Son, Jesus. When you truly open your heart and your mind to the love and mercy of the one true God, and ask for forgiveness, I believe that God is listening to your spirit and not to your words.
The final decision? It's all part of the new covenant. Many (as I) believe that God has already made His decision...so the "final" decision rests with the individual to accept it or not.

Well, Jesus is God - Why in Genesis does it say -= "Let US make man in OUR image?"
God the Creator
Jesus The Redeemer (The Son of God)
The Holy Spirit - the Enabler
The Trinity - The triune GOD !
Ask God for forgiveness in the Name of Jesus who died for our sins - He the one who was sinless - paid the price - the sacrificial Lamb of God - the blood sacrifice - the ultimate sacrifice
John 3:16-17

Trinitarian belief is confusion, hands down. God is not the God of confusion, He is loving. Why would He say He's triune, when He wants us to worship Him alone? The key word is ALONE.
There is no trinity, the word "trinity" isn't even in the Bible.
Ask GOD for forgiveness, because Jesus is not, and never has been, God. God alone grants absolution from sins.
I mean really, does God need any partners for help? Methinks not.

At Matthew 6 when Jesus prayed the model prayer, he answered this question for us. He prayed to "Our Father" and said "Forgive us." However, since Jesus is the only mediator between God and man, it would be correct to ask God in the name of Jesus Christ or through him.

God, Jesus, and the Holy Spirit are the same being in one. Therefore, you should pray to any of them for forgiveness because they are the same creator. If you truly repent from your sins and ask Jesus (God or Holy Spirit) sincerely to forgive you then he will. God bless you and continue your path with God.

You compliment Jesus, you're praising God. The Bible says that in case you confess consisting of your mouth Jesus is Lord, and have confidence on your heart God raised him from the lifeless, you would be saved Romans10:9 The Bible tells the thank you to get God forgiveness via believing faith in Jesus. you won't be able to make up your man or woman policies, yet could persist with the policies God placed down in the Bible.
