I work for AAA and my supervisor came over from Progressive where she was the Litigations Manager....they are only concerned with saving money and one of their "ploys" as she calls it is the reps have 24-48 hours to issue payment under the collision and they are REQUIRED to resolve a total loss in 7 days or less.....this sounds great, but underneath it's their insured that suffers because they are forced to sign releases so they can't come back for "hidden damages." ALSO....they are highly litigated because they "low ball" 3rd party injury settlements and are consistently in court where the jury verdicts are so much higher than what the attorney asked for to start with....their insureds get ticked off for always being drug into court, when had they settled the claim to start with they wouldn't be in court to begin with. They intentionally hire college graduates that have absolutely NO experience in this industry which again on the surface doesn't sound bad, but the training they receive stops once they leave the training class. So, take it for what it's worth.....all insurance companies have the good with the bad....and in the end it comes down to the adjuster and how they service your particular claim amongst the hundreds they handle daily.

Progressive can be expensive. You may want to try getting a quote online. I am paying less than ½ of what I was before.
Go to: http://www.insureme.com/landing.aspx?Refby=615451&Type=auto
Take care,

They ae not a top rated carrier. The Co was started by a couple of pinheads who knew nothing about insurance, but they knew the internet, coupled with a heavy advertising budget . . . need I say more about the condition of the average consumer?
Check Allstate, AAA, Farmers, or State Farm (#1 carrier). Do NOT go with the cheapest quote - if you hit/hurt someone/yourself, you will be screwed. -Best!
