I went down to Texas to meet my now husbands family for the first time and his aunt had been married 51 years and pulled us to the side and said this:
"In order to make it, in order to have a succesful relationship there is one key. The key will ONLY work if both people abide by it. The key is to love the other person more than you love yourself"
And I definitly believe and live by that...

The best relationship advice I ever received came from a quote by Gloria Steinem: "A woman needs a man like a fish needs a bicycle."

In 7th grade, Katie was gonna call me a t six. I called my friend Heidi and panicked. She calmly exclaimed: "Just be yourself, that's all you have to do". Oh yeah, have a couple of backup plans for those picky people who always have an opinion about everything (at least you will enjoy yourself on the only date you'll ever go on with them, right?)

the best...would be a quote from my now boyfriend, before we got together. we were talking and i told him i was scared to tell the person i liked that i liked them...he said
"any guy would die to have a girl like you. that might sound pretty clichèd but it's the truth. you don't want to be thinking 20 years from now on what this could have been, so just go for it!"
and then we kissed. =] â¥

Real Love is from the heart. It can't last, if it's from any other part of the Body. The Heart, never lies. And it won't hurt you. And it wants you happy, so it can survive. The Heart is where the action is.

I don't know if this was the best love advice that i've ever recieved, but someone once told me that it's better to be with someone who loves you, than risks loving someone who doesn't want to be with you...

That there really is no such thing as true love. You just find someone you are compatible with, get along with, have a pretty good time with and are attracted to, and just go with that.

You spelled receive wrong.
You could either take a chance, or you could live the rest of your life wondering what could have been.
