I've just found this site:
http://www.babynamesworld.com/search.php?tab=4&f_girl=1&f_both=1&f_containtype=contain&f_start=&f_lengthtype=&f_chars=&f_meaning=deer&f_land=&f_starstype=0&f_stars=1&f_submit=1&f_searchtype=advanced&qsearch=1&browseby=1&x=54&y=3

You can type in a meaning & it gives various suggestions for names, also telling you which country the name comes from.

I liked the Native American suggestions for deer:

Isi or Kaliska (deer that chases coyotes)

And for sweet:

Gelasia (Spanish - sweetest) or Dulcey (also Spanish)

But have a play & see what you can find.

(Though Bambi or Bambina do seem to be names that might be made for her. I think that I might just like the name BAMBINA best)

How about "Deetah." Deer in Spanish is Venado. Little female deer is "Venadita." So Dita (Deetah) could be short for Venadita.

all legs and a baby deer, I'd go with Fawn. Perhaps there is a Mexican equivalent.
