My good friend "Emily" has dated her ex for a year until she got nervous with commitment and broke with him in the worst way by e-mail. In the "dear john" note she blamed the failing relationship on him. Later on she felt really bad about everything. She went to call him to apologize and he hung up on her several times. One day though he had contacted her on the internet. He invited her to have cyber sex and she agreed. After a while she felt empty and asked to see him in person he got angry. She stopped the cyber fiasco and insisted that she talk to him to apologize and explain everything. He refused again. Emily is so broken hearted she doesn't know what to do. All she ask for is a face to face meeting and she gets rejected. I told her that he's trying to get revenge for her wrongdoing. I also ask that she forget about him but she wants only him. She is very stubborn and won't listen to reason please help me help her.

hmm... well.. give her some time and space. for now
as a guy. i know persistent would only make situation worse. if my ex keeps on calling and wants to talk? i will try to avoid her as much as possible. so i can understand from the guy point of view too.
eventually she will cool down , and then its your time to talk to her and comfort her.
