RUSTY!!! Don't get me wrong, i ain't no Waltrip fan but Rusty is completely out of his element. He stutters and stammers like someone has got a gun to his back. Not to mention he gets everyones name wrong. Now I know it is easy to mess up Kurt & Kyle or Casey Mears and Kasey Kahne, but how many times can you do it? He also needs to study the lineups and learn which drivers switched cars this year. I hope Kurt Busch wins the race because I just wanna hear Rusty yell, "RUSTY WALLACE WINS THE DAYTONA 500!!!!" Oh and I don't know if you've seen it, but Rusty is an anylyst on the show "Nascar Now" and it is physically painfull to watch. Boris Said was on there with him this morning and I find it hard to beleive that the producers of the show are not considering hiring Boris and firing Rusty... Some people only have one true talent and for Rusty that talent was driving and thats it....

I think Rusty is completely out of his league as an announcer. Nothing exciting about him at all. Darrell is so loud mouth that you wonder why they keep him. He is always talking about little brother. So I think they both suck with Rusty the worst. Kenny is better than the both of them. While I'm at it, Jimmy Spencer is lost, completely lost. How did Jeff Gordon get in this conversation??????

Neither one is bad. I love both Rusty and Darrell. Darrell has his Boogity Boogity Boogity Lets go racin boys. Then you have Rusty who knows more then some of the other commintators. Just think he retired in 2005 so he knows a little more then some of the others. But Micheal is cool with his randomness. Also Kyle Petty will be good cause he will be racing but commintating in like the 1st 5 races for TNT/NBC. So he will know what will be going on with the racecars.

Darrell... definitely. Rusty is pretty new at it, but I haven't noticed any OBVIOUS biases in his announcing. Darrell worships Dale Jr and Michael and has it in for Jeff Gordon (yes, I am a Jeff fan, BUT I like Dale Jr too) Ever notice how when Jeff is leading and there is 2 laps to go... Darrell spouts out every scenario he can think of to why Jeff WON'T win or what could happen to his car to throw him out of the lead. His southern charm is over shadowed by this devotion to Dale Jr.

I would have to say Rusty sucks more. And by that I mean he is a great announcer, but not as great as Darrell. I find Darrell interesting.

It's close but Darrell is worse. He defends he useless brother too much and it's always someone else's fault Michael hit someone. Plus he never shut's up and states the obvious after you thought it a minute ago. He talked too much when he drove, now it's worse and we all have to listen to him. The only good thing about Fox Broadcasting the races IS Dick Berggren.

For me it's Alan Bestwick and Dr.Jerry Punch that suck. Darrell Waltrip has always been known as "Jaws", and seems the older he gets, the faster he was.

darrell used to really suck i couldn't believe dale sr is dying n he's going on about his brother winning instead of the horriffic crash sr had and i was never a sr fan. after the spat with tony on air he's improved...now rusty on the other hand not so great to technical
