We have a great gift in God's word the Bible. We can read and meditate on the wonderful things done and going to be done. We look at Jesus on the stake. Jehovah was there with him right up to the end. He pulled his Holy Spirit away so Jesus could prove himself loyal. Today we have a similar test coming upon us. We will have prove ourselves integrity keepers without Jehovah's intervention. My faith has always been, even tho I was being raised Catholic. I knew God and Jesus were 2 seperate people. I knew if I prayed for something it would come or happen. Basically in ignorance I developed a basic faith, when I became one of Jehovah's Witnesses did I realize I was on the right track and righted my knowledge by Bible study and meeting attendance. My kowledge not only increased but became accurate. My faith tells me that times will be hard in these last days as does 2 Peter 3:1-5. My faith tells me that Jehovah is the great deliverer and he knows who are his and they know him. This is why study of scripture is so important and why we should not forsake it or the gathering with ones of like faith. We don't need miracles because faith is in the unseen thing. If you have to see to believe then it is not faith.

God lets us be tested and tried so it will strengthen our faith. You will always have trials in this lifetime but it is nothing compared to what God has in store for those who place their full trust in Him. He doesn't leave you when you are in a difficult situation he is there helping you through it.

Jam 1:2 Count it all joy, my brethren, when ye fall into manifold temptations;
Jam 1:3 Knowing that the proving of your faith worketh patience.
Jam 1:4 And let patience have its perfect work, that ye may be perfect and entire, lacking in nothing.

Ah, the old testing routine.

When something goes wrong the religious leaders came up with the idea of "testing by God" to vent the anger and keep people from asking too many questions. The hell threat is the best way to keep Christians, Jews, and Muslims on the defensive and limit questioning.

our trials and tribulations are mostly created by our own making when we stray from the word of God. They are also seen as tests of our conviction and personal character. We are incapable of understanding God's plan for our lives. The underlying reason that we lose our faith in God is the fact that we tend take things personal to provide closure to our unanswered questions. When bad things happen to us for no apparent reason...we think God is testing us. And, by coincidence when a supposed prayer is answered we think we did something good to please God. God is great but he is impersonal.

Let me suggest you read the book of Job in the Bible.

Job was tested because God had bragged to the Devil about what a faithful man he is.

Compared to Eternity, this life is pretty brief.

Here is an analogy which might help you understand.

Suzie is a five year old girl and she's been home alone for hours with her eight year old brother who has been hitting her and harassing her. The 15 year old babysitter was not able to defend her.

Then Daddy and Mommy came home and the baby sitter told them what Billy had been doing to Suzie and pretty soon Billy is over Daddy's knee learning not to pick on his younger sister.

You see, little Suzie was vindicated when Daddy and Mommy came home and when she heard her little brother screaming over Daddy's knee she forgot all about what happened earlier in the evening.

Suzie was comforted by staying up late with Mommy and Daddy watching a Disney movie while eating ice cream.

Billy was sent to bed without any supper.

Billy was sleeping that night on his tummy since his other side was pretty sore.

You can read a story like that in Bible which Jesus told about a real poor beggar named Lazarus and a certain rich man.

Please note that this is NOT a parable.

You can read it youself in Luke 16:19 then read on to the end of the chapter:

And to make it easy, I'll type it right here:

The Rich Man and Lazarus

19"There was a rich man who was dressed in purple and fine linen and lived in luxury every day. 20At his gate was laid a beggar named Lazarus, covered with sores 21and longing to eat what fell from the rich man's table. Even the dogs came and licked his sores.
22"The time came when the beggar died and the angels carried him to Abraham's side. The rich man also died and was buried. 23In hell, where he was in torment, he looked up and saw Abraham far away, with Lazarus by his side. 24So he called to him, 'Father Abraham, have pity on me and send Lazarus to dip the tip of his finger in water and cool my tongue, because I am in agony in this fire.'

25"But Abraham replied, 'Son, remember that in your lifetime you received your good things, while Lazarus received bad things, but now he is comforted here and you are in agony. 26And besides all this, between us and you a great chasm has been fixed, so that those who want to go from here to you cannot, nor can anyone cross over from there to us.'

27"He answered, 'Then I beg you, father, send Lazarus to my father's house, 28for I have five brothers. Let him warn them, so that they will not also come to this place of torment.'

29"Abraham replied, 'They have Moses and the Prophets; let them listen to them.'

30" 'No, father Abraham,' he said, 'but if someone from the dead goes to them, they will repent.'

31"He said to him, 'If they do not listen to Moses and the Prophets, they will not be convinced even if someone rises from the dead.' "

Everyone has a cross to carry in this life. Some people don't even bother to take it up. Some crosses are plastic, and easy to bear, while others are like ironwood and full of splinters and heavy.

Praise be God!

faith is the blindness that allows people to believe in the stupidest
unreal things rather than facing the music from a rational reasonable stance. It's the crutch of the weak minded .
God is an illusion for you comfort and protection from the boogie man.I don't even believe in god. your fantasy plot is the typical glue of religious deceit.
