i think that everyone has a consequence for their actions... and they wont be the same for everyone else.My hubby commited adultery... his punishment? who know. but I know he will get it or has already. He had to file for bankruptcy with his new wife and he has basically lost his children's love. Who knows... maybe none of this is part of his punishment.

Yes. All sin is punished. That is law. For stealing, you would get caught or you would believe you got away with it and try to sneak it into the "gate of heaven," but, NO WAY! and so you would remain mortal until the sin debt was paid for in full through long suffering. The rule is sin brings death to the sinner; not life, joy, happiness, fulfillment, etc.

Just as there are consequences to breaking man's laws, there are consequences to breaking Almighty God's laws. The penalty for breaking any of God's laws is death. Jesus added a escape clause to the law. Almighty God will not see the sins of those covered by the escape clause.

There is a punishment but it comes when your life is over...however there may be consequences of anything you do in this life....And there is time until you are dead to ask Jesus for forgiveness....

Only if you die without receiving Jesus as your personal Lord and Savior......
Jesus paid for ALL of our sins, but if you (whoever) rejects the salvation and mercy that comes through His BLOOD sacrifice alone, then you, are on your own when you stand before God one
day in eternity....

John 8:24 - John 3:36 - John 3:16; John 5:24 --

The commandments of God are used to show us how utterly hopeless it is for man to try and save himself....as NONE of us can keep even the ten commandments perfectly throughout our lives without ever sinning --
Only Jesus lived and died without sin and became our perfect Sacrifice....our Passover Lamb....The Lamb of God Who takes away the sin of the world...Y'shua fulfilled the Law....

It is only through the precious BLOOD of the Lamb that ANY of us can have any kind of hope beyond death and this world....

Please call upon Y'shua now and ask Him to be your Savior!!!

God said, WHEN I SEE THE BLOOD, I WILL PASS OVER YOU.
-- Ex.12;13.
Without the shedding of BLOOD, there is no remission of sin.
Hebrews 9.
It is the BLOOD that makes atonement for the soul.

That is what our faith is based on and that is what actually PAYS
for each and every sin that we have committed, not only that, but
the fact that we were BORN IN SIN, spiritually DEAD because of
what Adam did when he sold us out to satan, so sin and death came into the world. We were all born SPIRITUALLY DEATH and
everyone who dies WITHOUT Jesus will face ETERNAL DEATH.
That is why Jesus told Nicodemus, YOU MUST BE BORN AGAIN. - and it is only THROUGH Jesus that we can be redeem-ed and born again.
The REAL you is a SPIRIT being, made in the image of God, and
because of Adam's disobedience, death came into the world.
Read Romans, especially ch, 5. where Paul explains this better than I did....
Jesus is the ONLY one who can reverse what Adam brought on
us -- and even though we are still subject to physical death, we do
not have to fear ETERNAL DEATH which will happen to every person who dies without asking Jesus to save them....

I realize that this was not your original question, but one needs to
understand what happened when Adam disobeyed God and to know how we were born in sin and NEED to be saved because
NONE of us can do ANYTHING to make ourselves RIGHTEOUS before God.
Only Jesus was able to do that by His BLOOD sacrifice on the cross!!
It is not just about your individual sins, but the lost and fallen condition of man because of adam's disobedience.

All men are sinners from birth...That is what the Bible teaches....
"There is none righteous ; no not one".

"ALL have sinned..."

Therefore all men deserve punishment from God who is creator of all.

All WILL bear the punishment of God IF they have not allowed Jesus Christ to be their 'sin bearer'

Christ came to bear the sins of man....someone has to pay...

Whoever allows Jesus to bear the punishment for their sins gets PARDONED and receives the free gift of eternal life...
That's why it is called the Good News.
