some Christians often accuse people who don't believe in God of thinking they are "high and mighty" and self-absorbed or self-serving, when they are the ones who think their beliefs are so special that they have a VIP pass to an exclusive country club in the sky?... and everyone else is going to burn up in hell?

hmm.. I guess you christians are right, I had my chance to be part of your "special, one true" religion but I just didn't take it! Yes.. for that I think eternal torture, pain and suffering is a fair punishment! What a just god you have!

Not weird, expected really.
As my mother changed denominations like most people change socks I was introduced to many different "flavors" of Christianity. The one thing they all have in common?
The ability to believe they are the only "chosen" people and everyone else is less human than they.
Bunk, bunk, bunk.

I don't believe I have the only VIP pass to the awesome country club in the sky that will be heaven, I am just using my card.
If you don't lose it
If you don't keep it for yourself
If you don't tear it up b/c it can't be real
Then you would have it too.
As far as self-absorbed or self-serving. What else is it called when people who don't believe in God continue to preach but preach common sense,and human power.
If there is no God then you are self-serving. Your not serving a God and I hope no one else. (that would be a cult)
If there is no God it is self-absorbed to think you are in control of your own life.
If there is no God then YOU are high and mighty b/c he is not.
I don't understand why it is insulting when its the truth!

Some Christians get mixed up in the whole thing and have that high and mighty feeling. I am Christian and I am just the same as you and everyone else here. I do not act high and mighty and dont FEEL high and mighty. As for the rest of you that are going to hell... I don't know if you are going there or not, that is not my decision.

My cat continually is for sale in the rest room at the same time as my spouse is in there. I dont understand i wager once you're sitting it appears like oh heres some legs to rub hostile to. Who knows what it is.

Yes...and this is why I really ask so many questions to myself about them, and about religion at all..what if all organized religion is wrong...and the bible is meant for self study and to live your life how YOU interpert it.....the only ones who are wrong are those who never tried...I know weird thought..what can I say I wonder about things a lot.

theese days there is so many religons and beliefs that you have to wonder which is really true.I always wonder is there really a god because everyone seems to have their own.if there is a god shouldnt everyone be worshping the same one?how can there be so many gods.i believe that there is a god.i know that im going to heaven and that i dont have to be christian to go there.

Heaven will be here on the new earth. This earth and sky as you know it now will be destroyed at Jesus' second coming, and those who endure til the end will gain heaven on the new earth

Well,I was brought up as as a Jehovahs Wittness. And if you wasnt one of them you was going straight to hell. Let me tell you, I went to hell being known as one of them assholes. Ruined my life, and at 58 yrs old still has an impact. SLAM THE DOOR ON THEM ASSHOLES!!!!!!!!!!!! They are a bunch of ASSHOLES! Dumb ones at that!!

Yes,and they are misled and dead wrong.We are not suppose to be judge and jury.How do they know where your going.they send you no where.They must feel there special.but there not.God does not pick and choose only christians for heaven.that surely would be unfair and unGod like
