I much prefer pie because I love the flaky crust. I like fruit pies, chess pie, the cream pies (particularly banana or coconut). I am not as fond of cakes, probably because they do not have that crunch to them that the crusts of pies have. My whole family prefers pie and we usually have pie for birthdays instead of cakes. As farm people we often had pie for breakfast with our coffee.
