An e with the comma on top?
Is it possible you mean é ?
That is an e with an acute accent.
on a mac:
First you type option e
then you type e
If you mean è
That is an e with a grave accent
on a mac:
First you type option `
then you type e
I don't know about commas. Do you
possibly mean apostrophe? The apostrophe
is to the left of the return key, but I don't
think it works in overstrike mode.
On Windows computers, letters with acute accents can be created by holding down the alt key and typing in a three-number code on the number pad to the right of the keyboard before releasing the alt key. Spanish speakers had to learn these codes if they wanted to be able to write acute accents before the appearance of Spanish keyboards, but some preferred using the Microsoft Word spell checker to add the accent for them. The codes are:
160 for á
130 for é
161 for Ã
162 for ó
163 for ú
On a UK Keyboard layout, these letters can also be made by holding Ctrl+Alt (or Alt Gr) and the desired letter.

If you are using Microsoft word, click on insert (on the tool bar) choose symbol, a new window will open, it will give you a large variety of common (and not so common symbols) including é, which is not a comma, its a written accent used to accentuate the vowel sound, most commonly used in Spanish and Portuguese. Anyways, select the symbol, then click on insert, and it will appear where your cursor was left.
Very simple!

try going into your start menu. If you look under accessories and system tools, you should be able to find the Character Map. This has all of the characters available in each font. You select the one you want and copy it. Then you just have to paste it into your document. Hope that helps
