we've used Cat behavioural sprays, a squirty bottle of water & pepper however the suited way is to maintain a watch on the cat & say "NO" firmly & circulate him/her to the scratch pole. Our 2 have a ordinary....get something to eat, bypass to settee & scratch, scratch, scratch! on the comparable place everytime so we are arranged for them doing this & p.c.. them up & take them to the scratch pole or circulate the pole to them! you may wish countless endurance with this so be arranged ok coz if it takes a liking on your settee you will could in all threat attempt distinctive approaches until eventually you come across the only which works for you. There are 2 components that cats loathe the smell of - pepper & citrus {orange}. in case you positioned pepper on your furniture needless to say do no longer rub your cats nostril on/it...that is cruel. The smell could be sufficient to discourage it - orange peelings in the back of your settee will avert the cat from going there to pee as some cats do. in case you desire all different tricks please do no longer hesitate to email us. solid success & we are hoping you come across the dazzling kitty which you will love. xx
