First I 100% agree avoid the 800 numbers at all costs -- they are a total rip off. I'd be careful with Tarot cards if you don't know what you are doing or know how to pray for higher good and protect yourself. Folks think of these things as a game and they are not.

You might want to check out Tarot.com, along with the attached secction iching.com. They have some free readings, some pay for (I'd skip those too lol...if your birthday is soon they used to give free Karma coins so you can get readings free. They ask the date when you register, but you can change it later fyi). Also if you sign up you get more free Karma coins and a free personalized horoscope to your mail every day which is interesting many times. I must say I have found both their Tarot CD and the IChing CD to be stunningly accurate repeatedly. A friend gave me both as a gift. You can check for sales on Ebay or Amazon and try the free versions until then. They have been far better and more accurate than I could have hoped for.

But what I think helps is I always pray for only answers for my higher good and from the light--without getting to woo woo. These are the only really credible ones I've found online. I know they are well respected. I'd suggest giving it a try (just don't rush to throw money at it...she how it works for you!). But when I've needed the info and used it seriously, not as a lark, it has been amazingly helpful. Just please be sure to use these occassionally and not as a crutch. When that happens I don't think you will get the same really helpful directions/answers. Enjoy!

ETA I respectfully disagree with the response above mine. I feel there are some very legit psychics and mediums (I'm far more interested and versed in the latter) out there. It's just an area where thare sadly are many frauds. Best way to find out is word of mouth from trusted, legit folks. If you don't know anyone there are many boards online that take these topics seriously and share info. Those of us that believe despise scammers and are very fussy in only going to those with legit talent. But if you have an open mind and heart, there are answers and people to help out there!

FREE PSYCHICS

I’m often asked about how to find free psychics and tarot readers. Although I’m a professional myself and work for a fee I realize that there are psychics out there who offer either totally free readings or a free psychic question here and there. So I'm always updating this web page with all my tips and recommendations http://www.psychic-junkie.com/free-psychics.html

I'm fascinated by numerology. I strongly believe that numbers reflect certain aptitudes and character tendencies, as an integral part of the cosmic plan. Each letter has a numeric value that provides a related cosmic vibration. The sum of the numbers in your birth date and the sum of value derived from the letters in the name provide an interrelation of vibrations. These numbers show a great deal about character, purpose in life, what motivates, and where talents may lie.

To find out more about your numerology you can head over to this site http://numerology.toptips.org and ask for your personalized report (for free)

Learn to do it yourself. You'll save money and most likely get just as much accuracy. The odds of encountering a true psychic are around 1 in 12 billion. Thats not to say you are unlikely to encounter someone who genuinely believes they are psychic, just that there are very few real psychics and absolutely none that have so far stood up to systematic testing.

Don't call an 1800 number...if they are psychic, then why aren't they calling you?! It would be better to go see someone who specializes (?) in it. If you know anyone who has gone for a reading, ask them about the experience. In-person readings are probably more accurate.

Try this site. The readings are free, you can choose from about 50 different decks and ten or so layouts. I've found their readings to be fairly accurate.

Keen.com. They have rating systems there too, so unlike a random website or 800 number, you can see who people found to be a farce and who they rated as good.
