I ask this same question once in a meditation. The answer came clear as a bell.
It said I have placed you here to learn the true meaning of Love. What ever it was that was answering then told me something that really set me back. It said that I felt the way I did about certain people because I did not understand the true meaning of love. I protested and said that I did my best to love all of the people who were deserving of love.
It replied "yes that is your misunderstanding. You see love as something that you dole out in tiny little portions here and there to people who you have judged to be worthy of it. This is not love at all, it is only judgment". This stopped me dead in my tracks. I suddenly realized that what it was saying to me was true. This realization brought me to tears. It went
on and told me, "You treat love as though there is some shortage of it. It is not something that you can run out of. The more love that you give, the more love that there is in the world. Its that simple. The only way that there can be a shortage of it is if you hoard it and keep it to yourself."
It went on to explain, that "this is what Jesus was trying to tell you when he asked you to turn the other cheek, to judge not and to love your neighbor. He made no exceptions in these things that he requested of you. Why are you making exceptions, and judging some as worthy of love and others as not? Jesus fully intended for you to apply this love that you are to all, in a universal manner without any judgment of any sort". By this time the tears Were flowing freely. I was crying because for the first time in my life I Understood what the message Jesus left for us in the bible actually meant.
This has become my truth. I can't say what yours is for sure, but I have a feeling that it is probably similar.
Love and blessings

I've only been on this planet for 24 years which is less than a blink of an eye in the overall span of the universe but ever since I was young I've been endlessly seeking the answer to this question.I've read and read and read some more.So many books so many articles for years and years hoping to find the answer to this elusive question.
After spending $1000s of Dollars on books and literally countless hours reading I came to this conclusion.
Whatever your favorite thing to do is Personally is the meaning to life.A better question would be what is YOUR meaning to life.
The debate will go on forever wether god exsists or not.Or wether we go on after death. But really it's pointless cuz noone knows. It's funny I've read hundreds of books looking for the answer to life and all I found were more questions.
What I didn't realize for far to long is the people that wrote the books that I was reading didn't have any more answers than I did they were just giving there beliefs and perceptions.
This is one of the most important things I've learned.Read Carefully Accept it or not.
"Absolutely EVERY SINGLE thing is PURE speculation."
NOONE knows anything for absolute sure.
It's all about perception.
I think Agnostics have it right the most because they because they don't "believe" in anything but Honor the Possibilty of everything.
Does god exsist. It's POSSIBLE that he exsist hell yeah.
But it's also POSSIBLE that he doesn't.
We just need to come to terms with that. It's not sad or scary.
Anyone who says God Exsists is mislead and stupid
Anyone who says God doesn't Exsist is mislead and stupid
The only truly wise people are those who say.I don't know.
Noone "KNOWS"
People pretend to know because they deeply deeply wan't to know and why?Because they're scared of not knowing.Everyone fears the Unknown.
It's the same with everything don't say yes we go on after we die.
Also don't say we don't go on after we die.
Just be honest and say "I don't Know"
That's ok.I'm fine with that.
So the answer to the question. What is the meaning of my life.
Well my favorite things are
Laughing,Family,Nature Hiking,Eating,Swimming,
We all have five senses that we are aware of.
Touch,Taste,Smell,Sight,Hear.
So just drown all your senses with things until the day you die.
Taste as many things as you can before you die.
See as many things as you can before you die.
Smell as many things as you can before you die.
Etc. Etc...
Don't listen to other Humans because all they have is there version of the truth.Follow your heart and expierence as many things as you can before your dieing day.We may go on after death or it may be the end.
But even if it is the end.Honestly who the hell can complain.
At least you got to do and see and live and be for a short while.
At least you got the chance to exsist.
Live every single second as though it was your last. And when you die you won't be scared if it goes on or not.
One Love Everybody,
I don't know anything but I'm happy.

the meaning of life is not here on earth thats only temporary, you need to decide where you spend your eternity there is only two choices, Jesus died once so we dont die twice so we need to be born twice so we only die once, and accept Jesus as gods sacrafice abnd spend eternity in heaven or reject it and face second death and spend eternity in the lake of fire which was made for devil and his angels not man, so we live here preparing for eternity, the choice is yours, now is the time when you die its too late, as for me and my house i choose to serve the Lord

To crush your enemies, see them driven before you, and hear the lamentations of their women.

" I am the vine, ye are the branches; He that abides in me, and I in him, the same brings forth much fruit; FOR WITHOUT ME YOU CAN DO NOTHING. If a man does not abide in me, he is cast forth as a (dead) branch, AND IS WITHERED". ...
....If you abide in me, and my words abide in you , you shall ask what you will, AND IT SHALL BE DONE UNTO YOU". - Jesus Christ ( John 15:5-7)
