Im 22 and still living at home.

Am a first year IT student at Uni.

No Job,sitting on several job applications atm.

No girlfriend, i cant seem to trust anyone, and that always leads to me becoming over bearing and insecure in the relationship.

Ever since leaving high school i have done nothing but make bad/stupid decisions,
(smoking copious amounts of marijuana on my own being at the top of the list, ditching all my real friends to play an online video game)
that have lead me to the mire I am in now and i cant help but feel it is too late to pick myself up and move on.

It's never too late to change if that is what you want.

I will bet that UNI has a counseling department for students, you probably pay for it in your tuition. (I know I do at my school) They would be a good place to start. If not, I would suggest NA (Narcotics Anonymous) - you'll find peple who have felt as you do there and have found the answer to "moving on"

Good luck to you.

Get a job at the restaurant "The Melting Pot" if there is one around. Everyday is booked and the prices are high. When we went there with a party of 7 the gratuity was $50 for dinner. The total price was nearly $300.

ITS NEVER ( you hear me lol N-E-V-E-R!!!) too late to pick yourself up and get a better life. i can see that you are not satisfied with yourself...i know you can do this even though i dont even know you, but EVERYBODY can and you can still acheive a lot of things. dont put yourself down just because everything isnt the way you want it to be, just get everything together and move on. and about girlfriends, i am sure there is a girl that you would trust, just go out there and find her before its too late. lol, i know i sound like a phsycologist right now, but thats what i think you should do...:) BUT GOOD LUCK TO YOU!!! :)

not really. Hell, in fact,I live with my parents and I am 19...**** it is cheap living but, yet again, I have a job an am saving up $20,000. The college thing is fine..get a job only if you are bored...the girlfriend thing same with me....I too started drugs after high school...drugs are so lame to but why the hell not? We are young yet..nothing is to late. Technically you could join the peace corps and live (shitty) in a different countries, join the military, or travel USA paycheck to paycheck with shitty jobs. Go on a cruise and meet people. You don't need a college degree you don't need money... those things put stress on you but who says you need them to live happy?

You are not a loser. You have made some choices that now you are not to pleased with. So learn from the experience and correct the things you feel were mistakes. You have the power to change your life. You can do it!
