Has any hit or own either of them? Any input, I am thinking of getting a 4 wood. Which is easier to make solid contact, which goes further. I am 13, with an average / little slower than average swing speed. Thanks.

It really depends on what your ball flight is. If you hit the ball pretty low ur probably gonna want the R7, if you hit it really high you want the v-steel. The v steel was designed for the better player so it just goes lower and has the v on the sole which makes it easy to hit out of the rough, Hope this helps

Agree you should demo both if you can find both. It may though come down to price. The V Steel is now in the sales racks selling for $99 at GolfSmith and TGW.com.

I have the V Steel's 2 wood and have just bought the 5 wood.

You need to try them both at the same time with a swing monitor. The best is the one that works best for you. Go to your local Golfsmith or Golf Galaxy, they'll be happy to help you out.
