Simple, with 50,000 volts

The taser is a Police Officers Friend. Sure there are wrist locks, armbars, etc, but why get close enough touch them when they can touch you back.

My husband has taught Defensive Tactics and Arrest Control to other law enforcement officers for over 20 years. He teaches a form of martial arts that was specifically designed for police officers and was developed by a man named Bob Koga. A book was written about his life and is available from Amazon.com

If you're interested in arrest control techniques, I suggest you read this book. Good luck!

However they want to bring the bad guys down doesn't matter to me. As long as the bad guys go down!

Good work, cops! Keep it up.

there are wrist locks and twist that can disarm a person, but unless you are really good and pratice alot i would not advise it. there are alot better ways..tazer gun, talking them out of it, or shooting them.
