Press the dough into a ball. If it is too dry, gradualy add another tablespoon of ice water.

This is the BEST recipe for a pie crust, it never fails! I even made a mistake and added too little water and it was still great.

3 c. flour
1 c. shortening (Crisco)
1 tsp. salt
5 tbsp. cool water
1 egg
1 tsp. vinegar

Combine flour, shortening and salt. Mix well with pastry blender. Mix together water, vinegar and egg. Combine 2 mixtures and mix lightly with fork. Roll out and put in pie pan. Makes two crusts.
