Wine was a common drink in those days and in that custom. My father in law is Italian and he has drank wine since he was a kid and I never saw him drunk from wine. It was like water to him. Jesus speaks the truth. Drunken banter doesn't stand the test of time. I found your question very rude.

Jesus actually refused to turn water into wine (his first miracle), while his Mother insisted.

But if the things Jesus said were as a result of drinking- who cares? They are beautiful. I don't care if he was drunk or high or whatever. I don't care if he had a personality disorder. I don't think any of that matters.

He loved and cared about people, and his most important message is that we should love and respect each other. And what's bad about that?

back then, wine was a common drink; even children drank it at meals because sometimes the water wasn't safe. So no, probably not. And as someone above me said, you really aren't being very considerate of some people here (or very open minded).

It is not clear that Jesus was drunk at any point in his life. Since drunkeness is mentioned many times in the Scripture, I find it hard to believe he would violate his own rules. Jesus lived a life free of sin.

Jesus was called a "wine bibber" or drunk but was not. You are not being considerate of persons here.

Not only is it sinful to allow yourself to become drunk, it is sinful to be less than sympathetic to those who are. To accuse the one who is perfect in every way! may very well cost the accuser his life.
