The problem is you waited too long to eat. Try to eat more throughout the day so that your body isn't sending out panic signals to your brain. Add some vegetables and fruit to fill you up without adding a lot of calories. Apart from the bread and butter the rest wasn't too bad. Even if you don't feel hungry eat breakfast in the morning. It helps to normalize your blood sugar. Trust me it works.

What kind of excercise did you do to burn 2500 calories? I'm not sure I buy that unless you were on the machine for hours and hours. If this is the case, you are overdoing the excercise and by the evening your body was simply screaming for energy in the form of food. My first instinct is that you are way out of balance between food and excercise.

As for your binge, its actually not that bad. The 7 pieces of bread is a bit hard to understand because it doesn't sound like it would be extremely appetizing after the first few pieces.

All I can say is that yes, you gave into temptation but at least you didn't eat a lot of refined sugars like candy, cakes, etc. Your choices were actually pretty good if you truly were having a breakdown. I can guarantee that I've eaten three times this many calories in one sitting in the form of much less nutritional items.

Don't punish yourself with excercise tomorrow morning. It will only make you despise excercise because you will learn to associate it with these types of situations and you'll see it purely as punishment. If you work out in the morning because that is your normal routine, then that is great! But, it should not be used as punishment for your binge tonight. You will simply learn to hate excercise more and more and more and more....

Your metabolism is going to be fine. In fact, the added calories may actually give you a much needed engine rev, depending on how much you already ate today. Like I said, you may be expecting too much of yourself it you are excercising like a jaguar and then eating like a bird.

Be gentle on yourself, my friend. We are human and we all error each and everyday. I can think of a million other things that you could have done that would be much more harmful than your binge. Hey, it looks like you got lots of protein, calcium, vit C, and gobs of fiber from that bread. Look at the bright side, child!

well, most of the food was relatively healthy...but if you ate it all at once, it's bad. this is what you should try... wait until you are actually hungry to eat (as opposed to just mindless snacking) that way, when you eat you get full quicker and you avoid the binges. If you are like me, when you eat when you aren't full out of boredom, you eat a lot more.

Everyday is a new day, a fresh beginning. Don't let a slip get you down. Wake up at 9 and start moving towards health again.
