I was getting smirks and contradictions every time I get asked things by her. Whats the big deal? I give a guys answer to a silly question. Example: I was asked "Do my hips look wider or slimmer in this dress" I answered "Whats the difference, I like you the way you are".

girls are self consious beings by nature and you being the person that she's with and gives her attention, what you say is very important to her. when u say shes fat then she knows that she is or if u say shes beautiful then she knows that she is. it wouldnt really matter if you were some random dude off the street but youre not, youre her boyfriend.

Good response, because some woman have a low self-esteem. You don't ever want to put her down, but if she ever does look not-so-good then say "That does not flatter you, or you would prettier in something else, etc." Some guys think woman are one big mystery and were so hard to understand, no were just sensitive.

Just as long as when she asks you "Do my hips look wider or slimmer?" you don't answer wider, I think she'll like it. Of course it always boosts esteem to hear "slimmer," but if you don't want to answer that way, just make sure it's something non-insulting.
