This morning I woke up and there were these tiny white welts on my fingers, and they were itching. Then, my hands started getting these red spots on them and the welts were getting bigger, (they were white). Generally they are only between my fingers. I took Benadryl, and it seemed to help, but only for about an hour. Does anyone have ANY idea what this is???? Its very strange. I haven't eaten anything usual, or done anything out of the ordinary, so I have no idea what it could be.

I am a child care director and the kids sometime get a condition called hand foot and mouth. This viral infection is common in children but I have had teachers contract it. Basically you get welts on the hands and feet and sores in the mouth, could be this. Look at this website and see if anything matches here.

When I was in High School I got the hand-foot- mouth thing playing volleyball. (Its not as bad as it sounds) Its just a virus. It should go away in about a week. It also sounds like it could be some kind of allergy. You might wanna go to the doctor and have an allergy test one of these days. Its kinda useful to know what you are allergic to sometimes!

Hand-foot-mouth virus. There is nothing you can really do.

To relieve the itch, put warm water into the sink. Put some oatmeal in there too. Now soak your hands in it for a while. It should nourish your hands and stop the itch. Good luck!
