I think we're heading towards it, but it won't be immediate. Possibly during the next one or two centuries, at the earliest.

I think it's silly how some people say the world is going to end soon, because Bible prophecies are coming true. If you put it that way, they have been fulfilled a long time ago.

When we're heading towards Armeggedon, there will be disease. As of now we have AIDS and it's not just an epidemic, it's a pandemic. But we've beat polio, smallpox, the bubonic plague, and there are more and more cancer survivors today. I feel like the government should organize another March of Dimes, like the fundraiser for polio in the fourties, and we can beat AIDS too.

Of course, we have the war in Sudan and Iraq. Then again, there's been wars since basically forever. North Korea said they're going to go back to the six party talks, so things are actually getting a bit better.

In the Bible, it said that there will be natural disaster. Hurricane Katrina was horrible, but we had a very slow hurricane season last year, so that doesn't say much.

I think instead of worrying about Armeggedon, we should be helping people who are suffering. Yes, I realize that the Bible says the world will end, but what if this isn't it and it won't happen for a very long time? We should try to preserve what we have and focus on acheiving peace, even if it's just for the moment.

God's final judgment will be the work of divine hands, not human ones.

The Rapture is a myth. It was invented by an English preacher in 1830 after hearing about a vision some Scottish girl had had.

I think the pre-skirmishes have begun. This may play out over the next 20-40 years, but we are definitely on the road to Armageddon.

The stage is being set.
"But keep on the alert at all times, praying in order that you may have strength to escape all these things that are about to take place, and to stand before the Son of Man."
(Luke 21:36)

Sometimes I wish I knew for sure, I feel it will be in my lifetime. I could be wrong about that, I can't prove it. Honestly, I don't care to try and figure out the time. I know it's coming and I know it's time to prepare, God will handle the rest in His own way.

In Biology, someone asked, Ducks? --- and why are they spinning. Unlike your question. I will answer.
"One of it's legs are both the same and the higher it flies the much."
I hope this helps answer your question.
