I have an XM radio and want to install a wired FM modulator.
I need to attach wires to the antenna but not sure how to get the radio out.

If the radio has 4 small holes use ford radio removal keys. If the radio doesnt have 4 small holes on the front (2 on each side) then you will have to remove the dash trim. Ford doesnt use the keys much anymore. You will need to remove the dash trim piece around the radio. (Whole plastic piece) The dash trim just snaps off. You will need to use a plastic trim removal tool ( I dont recommend a flat head screw driver because you will mark up your dash)Then you will remove 2 7mm bolts.

you need to have a special tool that goes into the little tiny squares on the front of the radio.... get the tool, stick it in and you should be able to gently pull the whole head unit out....
