I want to lose some weight for summer, i've always been pretty active so im in decent shape. I've starting going to the gym in the morning, swimming laps doing cardio and weights and have started eating about 1200 healthy calories a day. Is this a good start or is there anything else i should be working on and how quickly will i see results?

Wow, good for you!!!!! Sounds like a good plan to me. Only thing I can think of is to take a good vitamin & mineral supplement. Especially calcium. And drink lots of water.
