How can you tell if someone has class?

There are certain things they wont do or say.
If they have certain morals, or if they dress non-revealing or if they dont use certain kinds of language, they have class.

You just know. They either have it or they don't. But, it may take a while to determine if class flows consistently throughout their life. Everyone has done some class-less things in their life, even if they are overall a class act. But, the truly classy person knows how to explain that - in a classy way - and move on.

Their mannerism , especially at the table !! The way they dress , the way they talk , walk .......for example Princess Diana was full of class .......someone that has non would be Paris Hilton !!

Class really needs to come from the inside and be genuine !

Ask them about an ex. Could be an ex-boyfriend or girlfriend or maybe an ex-boss. If they won't talk about about the other, definately a sign they have class. Watch how they treat other people, talk about them, etc, especially those viewed as less popular. If he/she treats others well, another sign of being classy. Ask others for their observations - do you think of_______as having class?

I think it's by the way they treat people. I've seen plenty of girls dress slutty that treat people well, and I say those girls have class. I don't think judging people by the way they dress is the way to go.

If you're out with somebody you can get a good idea by the way they treat the wait staff, whether they talk behind people's backs, etc.
